28km from Naikoon Provincial Park · 3 sites · Tents, RVs, LodgingBordering the pristine Tllaal river on Haida Gwaii, this 4-acres of forested property lies in the small community of Tllaal, on the east side of Graham Island, central to Haida Gwaii's communities. The property edge is steps away from the tidal zone of the river, which has coho salmon splashing about from mid-August to mid-October. We have two paddle boards available as an add-on. It is a beautiful experience to time a paddle with the tide down to the mouth of the river, have lunch at the Pesuta shipwreck, then paddle back up with the rising tide. The other end of the property has a trail to East Beach, where other humans are a rare sighting.
The property has one 14x20 canvas wall-tent; with a cozy queen size bed, couch, wood stove, and kitchenette on the deck. There are several tent sites on the property. Amenities include an outhouse, hot outdoor shower and outdoor kitchen.
