Nice place to stop!
They grade the gravel very often, i stayed 1 night on the way up to Montana and 1 night on the way back. Both spots were almost perfectly level. Sure makes things nice when ur just quickly stopping for the night.
Showers/bathrooms were nice and clean.

Western Hills Campground
This was an overnight stay for us. It served it's purpose. The area was windy when we were there and with the grind being stone it made things dusty. The sites were close together and there wasn't much option other than to have picnic table(provided) next to hook ups. Our neighbors water connection was leaking water making our side wet. The bathrooms were accessible with a code and my teens had a issue getting it to work and after a few wrong tries it locks you out for a few minutes. The bathrooms were clean, and the site had a designated dog area with poop bags provided. There was also a mini golf on the property. We didn't have a chance to use it but nice option to pass time. I had a package delivered and was able to receive it without any problems. Desk clerk was friendly and it was a good location off our route for an over night stay. A few options for food, gas, etc within walking distance.

This is such a great place to camp when traveling on I-80 through Rawlins.
I have stayed here several times and every time I have been very happy with my visit. The staff are friendly and helpful, the bathrooms and showers are clean and cutely decorated. I know I will stay here again when I come through the area.

Overall we can’t complain for an overnight stop. They have mini golf but we didn’t play. It’s a run of a mill RV park with close spaces and everything is gravel. They have two pet areas one is gravel and one is grassy. Don’t walk your dog on any other grass according to all the signs posted. The park was clean and quiet at night. They sold liquor in the little host station. We ate at a restaurant called Aspen house on Main st. It is not a burger budget restaurant but fine dining being able to wear a t-shirt and shorts from being on the road all day was nice. Highly recommend eating there. We did get a message from the host that we didn’t pay and needed to come in and pay before we left even though my husband paid weeks ago on hipcamp. It was a mistake and figured out but a little annoying.

This is a great place to camp when traveling cross country on I-80. The campground is well taken care of and feels very safe. The facilities such as the bathrooms, showers, laundry building, and office are clean and are decorated in a fun way. I have stayed here more than once and will do so again when I am in Rawlins.

Easy to get to, just off the I-80 but too close; the sounds semi truck traffic were distant and not bothersome.
Check-in and as quick and easy. The campground office is well stocked with items and interesting beverages.
The bathrooms and showers were very clean and nicely decorated.
I would definitely stay here again as I travel cross country on the I-80.

This RV park was as expected and as advertised. The area was a large gravel lot with sites close together. The checkin was easy, the store had a nice selection of items. The bathroom and showers were clean and tidy. We simply needed a convenient place to stay for the night and this worked fine for us.

This campground has all the amenities you need, including a shower, which is free with the night stay as is electricity and other hook ups. The front desk clerk was nice enough to put us close to those to accommodate Steve’s inability to walk great distances, since we do like to use those facilities when we can as opposed to the bus. The ladies bathroom had a lot of little extra touches. First of all, it was very very clean second, it had shampoo and Q-tips and everything was just very nice for people who come in maybe forgot their stuff. Has ample showers and toilets. The only drawback, and that is if you care, is that it’s basically a big concrete pad with row and rows of big RVs and most are pretty big. We didn’t mind it.

The great thing about this site is it has really good amenities. Showers washer and dryer RV hook ups. And the gal at the desk was super friendly and helpful. I think I wasn’t a fan of is that it’s a bit more of an RV spot in a tent camping spot. The pink camping spots do have some grass but folks let their dogs go on it a lot, and also there’s a bit more lights on at night then I like. But all if those things don’t matter to you this is a good spot for amenities for sure…

This is a safe, clean, very well managed campground. However the interstate is right there, and if you're a light sleeper at all, or in a tent as opposed to an RV, you will hear tractor trailers and (many) trains all (all) night. Also, campers, there's very little level (gravel free) ground here for you in the designated camping area.

The campground was very well organized and laid out, with the tent area separated from the RV area. The windbreaks were great. The showers and laundry area were so clean and functional.

A nice and convenient place to stop. The facilities were clean and felt very safe and well maintained. The park itself is basically a large gravel parking lot dominated by large RVs and buses.

We had a really nice overnight stay here! It was short and sweet, but I can't say enough about how clean the restrooms/showers and laundry facilities were, and how kind the people were who worked here. Lorraine in the laundry was awesome to talk to and did a fabulous job keeping that facility in tiptop shape. Thanks so much for a great stay!

They've done a lot of make it a welcoming and it shows.
While not in what I would call a destination or scenic area, if you just need a spot to pop up a tent or park an RV while on the road to other parts unknown, the amenities (very nice bathrooms/showers, handy store) make it worth considering and the funny signs are a nice perk.

Fantastic spot for a quick overnight on our way up north. I wish we could’ve spent more time enjoying everything they offer, however I really appreciated how clean the bathrooms and showers were. We arrived late at night, and the host ensured we had everything we needed, even then. Would love to come back!

Great for an overnight stop. It was very hot and the dog park was gravel. No grass. No shade. I asked The lady at the desk if there was anything around to see or do in the town and she just responded “not really’. So like I said, it’s a good overnight spot. I never got to meet Cheryl. No one was in the office when we pulled in. They did have spots assigned on the door which I thought was great.
