Best in Western Australia: 3rd place
Named one of the best Hipcamps to visit in 2023.
Come and visit us in Mooliabeenee, situated in the beautiful Shire of Chittering. Camper vans, caravans and tents are welcome. Sites are on a slight slope. Our property is located on a working farm with The Hive Café open Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays 10am - 4pm. Unfortunately, we've had to raise our camping fees due to theft, breakages, and irresponsible behaviour that persistently occur. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A NO-SMOKING FARM. Wake to the sound of the bush and farm animals. This is a very scenic area, with the campsites surrounded by pine trees. Interaction with farm animals. There are roosters that will crow early morning. PLEASE DO NOT CHASE ANY OF THE ANIMALS. ALL sites are NON-powered Dogs on leash allowed outside only, not inside café. Campfires - (campfires are only allowed when fire bans are lifted). Potable water available on site. Nearest toilet dump site is Bindoon Oval. Recycling Bins are available. Generator noise can disturb other people’s enjoyment of the area and disturb native wildlife and the farm animals, so think about using alternatives. Solar panels and inverters are the best ways to provide power for your must-have devices when camping and can be used anywhere. However we do allow generators, but they can only operate strictly between 9am-6pm. Adventure playground onsite for the "older' children and some smaller equipment for the younger ones. All equipment is PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK. Playground Rules: - Adult Supervision required for use - No bare feet, wear proper footwear - Do not use play equipment improperly - No pushing or shoving Free honey tastings are available when shop is open, but please ask and we can arrange a tasting for you. Campers will be held responsible for any damaged caused during their stay. Kindly note this is a working farm and we operates completely off-grid, where power and water are valuable resources. We kindly request that you limit your shower time to no more than 3 minutes and switch off all lights when not in use, our generator may start from time to time. ****Important Notice Regarding State Bushfire Ratings**** Please be advised that our camp adheres to the state bushfire ratings. In the event that a Catastrophic or Extreme Fire Danger Rating is announced, we may need to temporarily close our campsite. You may be asked to pack up and leave for your safety due to the high risk of fire danger.

Camping in the farm
Good place to camp, peaceful, quiet and relaxing to spend the weekend in the farm. Toilet was clean and have hot and cold shower. Kids like the homemade pizza and honey from the cafe. No mobile phone signal, good for the kids to have a break from internet.

Kids loved the playground and watching animals , it would be better with feeding animal sessions or something. Renee was very helpful showing honey. Site 26 is quite spacious, mostly flat and close to amenities.

A comfortable farm stay
This is a great weekend escape and a nice way to spend a few days. We really enjoyed spending time on a little farm with the animals and birdlife. The showers and toilets were welcomed, clean and well thought out. As an FYI to others, not all sites are level so make sure you have levelling ramps. Thank you for a great weekend.

Site 27, Tent Camping
We had great time. Kids loved the playground and animals. If there was feeding time or something, that would be fantastic but still enjoyed watching them. Site 27 was mostly flat and good for small tents and cars because of the positions of the trees. It was quiet although during school holidays so very comfortable and facilities are great. I didn’t expect to have a nice hot shower so that was a bonus.

lovely, quiet campsite
Gorgeous campsite and not too far from gingin and bindoon or other places for some day trips. We loved the honey tasting and staying right next to the goats and sheep. There is a gravel road to get to the farm so just be careful on the drive as we did see some cows/roos in the road.

We had the best time! We camped with 3 other families and found the facilities far exceeded our expectations. We will be back! Thank you.
