So wonderful!! A beautiful setting, looks like something from a fairy tale. Great for kids and dogs, close to town, honey bucket and group kitchen area were clean and tidy. The kitchen area has a gas stove and sink and some pots/pans etc. Will be back!!

Perfect bike packing retreat

Beautiful camping site, meadow was gorgeous as the sun was setting. Perfect spot for a bike packing overnight, so close to town. Could hear a concert at night that was happening in town, but wasn’t too bothersome as we went to sleep. Would definitely recommend staying, plan to come again!

Perfect spot! Secluded with privacy from other sites but also a very easy walk into town to go to nearby shops and restaurants. Sites had nice amenities - fire ring, picnic table, bucket of water for fire suppression, clean porta potty, and a shared kitchen with running water. Would highly recommend!

This was a lovely spot to camp on Alyssa's farm - easy to get to from Seattle and close to town. You still get some plane noise pollution overhead and we could hear the concerts going on in town, so this isn't an isolated nature experience, but still lovely for a quick camping trip. There was plenty of room at our campsite for 3 tents, and the campsites are spaced out so you have plenty of privacy. The deck with the stove and sink was very nice to have access to. It's not a long walk from the parking to the campsites, but hauling gear wouldn't have been easy without the wagon. Thanks Alyssa for these amenities!

We had a great time camping at the flower farm. My 5 yo loved managing/riding the wagon to walk our things to the camp site. Portapotty was clean and had no smells, came with toilet paper too. The communal kitchen and trash can were cute and so convenient. And of course we picked some flowers to take home as a souvenir! The only downside was that the noise from the airplanes flying overhead and the music playing from the downtown area was pretty loud on Saturday night but not too bad if you have earplugs. Did enjoy how close we were to coffee shops and restaurants!

I first camped here exactly a year ago. The Flower Farm was blooming and welcoming. Loved the well-stocked communal kitchen strung w/ solar lights. Saved me from bringing my cook & dinner ware. Clean, maintained porta potty. So conveniently situated close to town center. I’ll be back soon w/ my daughter & grandchild!

A peaceful weekend spent in beautiful surroundings, tranquil yet conveniently only a few minutes from the shops and restaurants in town. Site 2 felt very private amongst the tall grass and trees and is a short walk from the porta potty and cooking/ sitting deck. Deer walked through the site both days. There were unfortunately a lot of wasps around which mostly left us alone until we were cooking.

Great place, highly recommend. Small walk to each of the three camp sites so pack lightly. There is a cart for use for the heavier items. Also there is a grocery store about 5 minute drive away.

Troll, Trails, and Tents on Vashon

We had a lovely weekend staying at The Flower Farm. The location is excellent…close to coffee, bakeries, restaurants, and the Thriftway for groceries. The camp was quiet, clean, and bursting with flowers. Would recommend! Our favorite activities were mountain biking at Dockton and Center Island Forest, and visiting Oscar The Bird King at Point Robinson. Don’t miss Little Cup coffee, VI Baking Co, and The Ruby Brink. Get picnic sandwiches and supplies at The Thriftway.

Beautiful location and all the sites had cool elements about them. Unfortunately, the farm is directly under Seattle Tacoma’s international airport flight path. So I’d recommend bringing earplugs and if you don’t mind that then it’s great for you.

Had a lovely time here. Was beyond expectation I loved all the flowers. The site was very private and was not expecting such a great setup with a common area kitchenette area - had a wonderful time making breakfast. Beautiful property cannot wait to return. My dog protested leaving. I would recommend this spot to anyone. Bring cash for flowers :)

This is an awesome site! Fun location at the flower farm and very close to the shops on Vashon. The faculties at the site were great too - running water with soap and a very clean porta potty.

Quiet and serene. The birds in the morning maybe my favorite part of the whole trip. The girlfriend loved the flowers. Host is honest about the walk in site but to me it’s so worth it. And the provided wagon was very helpful and appreciated. Would absolutely stay here again.

Camp Site 2 was nice and private. The cart left by the parking lot was very helpful in getting our things there and setting up. One unexpected perk - cherries! There were trees all around the communal kitchen as well as in our site, and their fruits were ripe and delicious.

Perfect little getaway on Vashon

This was my first experience camping with Hipcamp and Alyssa set the bar high. As soon as we arrived, it was clear that the campsite had been thoughtfully designed. There were amenities that we weren't expecting, like an outdoor patio area with a sink for washing hands / dishes and even cooking. My partner and I stayed at site 2, which felt very private and provided a lot of shade for a hot weekend. I'm a birder and the surrounding field and trees attracted many different bird friends. There were other groups on sites 1&3, but we still had far more privacy than we typically would expect at a state park campsite. We brought our dog and he had a great time too. I would definitely return. One piece of feedback - A second wagon at the parking lot for hauling gear back and forth to the campsites would have been awesome. Every time we went to use it, other campers were already using it.

This was a lovely place to camp, quiet and peaceful with really thoughtful amenities (clean portapotty, propane stove, pots and pans, outdoor sink) and a very quick walk into town. Campsite #1 was clean and spacious, and all the sites are nicely spread out. We will definitely return!

Lovely campsite minutes from Vashon

Beautiful property, private and comfortable campsites, and the perfect amount of extra perks made this a lovely stay. The property is so close to downtown Vashon that you can completely skip all prep and pick up food or things you forgot in minutes but it feels like you’re far out in the countryside. Signage was excellent and made finding our site from the main road so easy. The private fire pit and picnic table at each campsite allow you to feel secluded but the public outside kitchen and eating area give you an opportunity to socialize with other campers if you desire. There weren’t any other campers during our stay but campsites seemed well spaced apart. The honey bucket was a short walk away from the campsite , nice and clean. Spot 2 had really great tree coverage that made sleeping in easy and protected us from slight wind. Wild deer were cute, friendly, and innocuous. We can’t wait to return!

the campsite was so nice! lots of room for tents, trees that worked for hammocking and behind a hill so secluded from the other campsites and the road. all of the convenience of being right near town (and the outdoor kitchen came in clutch) but with the privacy of a remote-feeling campsite. will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our experience at sweet alyssum farm! Took the ferry over and it was absolutely beautiful. We reserved site 2 and the campsite itself had lots of shade and lots of room for activities! We had an amazing time walking the land and meeting the animals along side petting the pigs and watching the chickens. Overall I would definitely recommend camping here especially if you have kiddos, they’ll love the animals. The only complaint we had was the walk from the parking area to the campsite itself. It was a little bit of a walk and you’ll need some energy to get everything to the campsite and they’re generous enough to let you barrow a cart (which helped tremendously) but once you’ve got everything there you’ll have a wonderful time!! Thank you so much for the amazing experience we’ll definitely be back again!!

Beautiful and Secluded Campsite!

We absolutely loved camping at this spot! We had site #1 and it was perfect for kids, so much room to explore while still feeling contained to the area. We liked that we couldn't see the other sites and we felt super secluded despite being fairly out in the open (never heard a peep and only saw other people a handful of times). It takes a bit of strength to pull the wagon full of gear through the uneven grass, but it was a pretty short trek to our spot.

Quiet Homestead

A tranquil spot near town but very rural. We decided to try tent camping before summer ended. Site #3 has a big beautiful tree that shaded us from the rain (mostly) and provided us a dry spot to keep our bags. We had a perfect night for a fire! We enjoyed having a glass of wine in the cozy community tent - the party lights were a nice touch. The bathrooms were clean and having an outdoor kitchen to wash our dishes was a plus.
