Nestled in the Tarboo Valley near Dabob Bay, you will find a relaxing little off grid hideaway where the forest meets the sea! This serene land will imbue you with its sacred, peace-filled vibes and invite you into precious moments to hear and feel the hum and aliveness of summer. Ravens converse, robins sing and deer meander through Cedars, Big Leaf Maples and luscious ferns. Fall asleep under the stars and wake up to the chirping birds. Our woods are home to Grandma Big Leaf Maple that holds you as you swing from her branch and feel the joy of letting go rush over you. With the freedom of no cell service, you can spend a quiet moment to think under the cedars at our meditation rock. We offer an outdoor cover kitchen (new 2026!), communal fire pit, bathroom area with an outdoor shower in our meadow for refreshing and recharging while meeting magical new souls sharing in the euphoria of nature in an alcohol and tobacco free space. Ravens Ridge is a short walk from Dabob Bay and the Tarboo Wildlife Preserve and a short drive from Quilcene, WA, the Pearl of the Peninsula, known for its oysters and proximity to some of the best hiking and other outdoor recreation on the Olympic Peninsula. This location provides easy access to trailheads in the Olympic National Forest, Mt Walker Viewpoint, and kayaking in the most pristine and protected inlets of the Salish Sea. Whether you are looking to eat fresh seafood or harvest your own, you will find all your heart desires: wild mushrooms in the fall, fresh nettles in the Spring, whale and seal watching! PLEASE NOTE: We are Queer! We welcome all LGBTQIA+ folks and allies. We believe in Magic and the power of Science to prove it. We are located on Twana/Skokomish, Chimakum, and Jamestown S'Klallam land. We honor this responsibility by providing an alcohol/tobacco-free space and giving back annually to tribal projects like Warm Current & Longhouse for the People. We also provide a discount for Salish Indigenous folks. Please reach out for more information. We are open to accommodating larger groups up to 14 individuals at a discounted rate. Owl's Nest faces North in a mixed sun and shade spot, only yards away from the giant maple swing. It is the closest forest tent to the parking lot, located about 50 steps up a slight incline with 3 steps up to the platform. This location is the second farthest from the communal bathroom and kitchen area. Bring your own bedding for this adventure!

Looking to host a private gathering? We love hosting celebrations of love, joy, solstice, framily... Please reach out to us for group pricing. Our land is set up to host groups up 12ppl at a time. We have 3 bell tents with beds that sleep 2ppl and 1 tent that can sleep up to 4ppl with 1 queen bed and space for a blow-up bed. We have space in the meadow for pitching 3 tents. The parking area can accommodate 7 cars.

I booked the entire site for my birthday and had a great time! The new covered area over the kitchen is excellent, and was especially nice during rainy weather. Multiple tents to choose from, a nice big fire pit, and multiple toilets for easy access. Timber and Bethany were super accommodating and helpful, will definitely be back out here again!

Great spot! Was looking for some peace and quiet away from the city and found exactly that. Close to many adventure spots. Comfy bed, clean bathroom, good kitchen. Has everything you need!

The area for parking my van was level and easy to get to, I felt safe and slept so well. Timber provides a beautiful place with a lovely area for cooking and eating, the outdoor shower was heavenly and so refreshing. The property is beautifully forested and quiet, perfect for nature lovers like myself, I have parked my van here multiple times and will definitely be back next summer!

We had a great time here. Timber’s property were extremely well taken care of and you can tell they’ve put a lot of effort into keeping it a magical location. The hot shower was extremely appreciated and the community kitchen area came in handy when I came to making some backcountry meals. Overall it was a good experience!

Luckily we had the place to ourselves. I think had it been more communal experience, it would have been even less enjoyable. It felt like we had a lot of rules. I understand not being allowed to bring food into our tent site, but this wasn't expressed in the rules in advanced. A bear bin, or storage near by would help. Walking to the car so many times to cook or eat was time consuming. The place is cute and has potential, but didn't feel worth our financial investment, especially with all of the rules. The grill has a coating inside that is flaking off. And I saw a cockroach in the Coleman burner. Not much you can do about the bugs, just mentioning it. Some of the utinsils in the bin are broken.

I had a lovely stay. The host met me when I arrived and gave me great suggestions on places to go. Tent was clean and cozy. Composting toilet situation was much cleaner/smelled much better than a port-a-potty. Outdoor shower was great. Forest swing is magical. I was traveling solo and felt very safe on Timber's land. Would return!

Cedar Cove
We had a wonderful two-night camping stay at Cedar Cove at Ravens Ridge. The hosts were responsive and the directions to the site were clear and easy to follow. The bed was comfortable and the tent was somewhat set apart from the common area, so the site was peaceful and quiet. It was also a plus to have a sink, table, and toilet available. We’d stay here again!

We had a great one-night stay on this property. We enjoyed hanging out in the metal and found the grounds very peaceful and quiet. There were a lot of mosquitoes around our tent and at the meadow, and the tent was pretty warm given the hot daytime temps during our stay, but we still slept well and enjoyed being outside.

My second time back here and it is so so lovely. The hosts are kind, thoughtful people and there are ongoing improvements to the space. I look forward to returning soon! Dog friendly, quiet, spacious tents, and so close to hiking and tourist places.

This was such a sweet little spot. In a very peaceful area, far from any busy roads or crowded areas. The communal area was very nice. I especially appreciated the BBQ, stove, dishwashing station, and ample picnic tables. The bathrooms were surprisingly nice and clear for camping! We stayed at the Cedar Grove site, which felt nicely tucked away. The bed was surprisingly comfy - even for two tall adults and a dog. While the Big Dipper tent looked cool, it is right in the midst of the communal area. So I wouldn't stay in that tent if care much about privacy.

Great first camping experience, felt like real camp experts! Good communication with host and everything was easily accessible except drive up was a little tough but manageable. Had plenty of space for our pups to stretch and run around. Close to many activities we went a couple beaches and to Olympic national forest! Overall great time :))

We loved our stay. The facility was clean and the bed was comfortable. An added plus was the cooking stuff( nice BBQ and coleman stove. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves. We will certainly be returning.

I enjoyed camping at Owl's Nest campsite- it was a quick overnight stay after hiking so I didn't make use of the provided kitchen facilities, but it was all set up nice and conveniently. The outdoor shower was so sweet, and the tent site very private, not far from the bathroom and just so nice to relax in after a long day...It's small but I didn't need anything more than a bed- the sounds of the forest easily lulled me to sleep. The directions were clear and easy, and it was nice being off grid for a bit, the peace was much needed and appreciated...
