Lovely spot by the river

Lovely spot right next to the river. Can walk along a dirt path to the Olympic Discovery trail. The campsite was terrific. I brought some things (i.e pots, towels) "just in case", but they weren't needed as the site had everything. Comfortable bed. It rained one of the days, and everything stayed dry. The hot water is tricky, and we didn't have it a couple of nights. I'm sure Robin would have come and helped (as she did one night) if we asked, but we decided to do without.

We loved camping on Robin’s property! My fiancé and I camp often, but went with friends who have never been. This was an amazing spot with all the amenities you want and need, while still feeling private and magical. Walking across the bridge to get to our site felt so special! We enjoyed exploring and playing in the river. We also got to explore the national forest, the site is very well located! Big shout out to how well the site is maintained, the tent areas are flat and level which is a huge plus. Robin obviously puts in a lot of thoughts.

Perfect Relaxing Campsite

This campsite was incredible! Definitely beyond our expectations. Robin was so kind and a huge help from the very start. She even made sure to set us up with a wagon for us to bring our gear to the campsite. We spent a full day hiking and the fact that we were able to come back to the campsite and take a warm shower was like a dream! The campsite felt so private and cozy and the hammock was amazing as well. We will definitely be back in the future 😁

We had a great time w our two dogs! Enjoyed a dip in the river and walking some of the trails. The owner was very hospitable. Enjoyed having meals on the front deck as well. Bed was comfortable. Always love an outdoor shower.

I loved Robin's land (did both camping and glamping on different occasions) which is well located (away from daily buzz of Sequim and yet close enough if you need stuff from Walmart, Costco or Sporting supplies). She continually improved her various sites and responded to every feedback. Robin is also flexible and accommodating to my requests when I needed to go back to Vancouver Islands to seek medical assistance. Highly recommended!

Staying on Robin’s land was my first Hipcamp experience and my absolute favorite camping trip of all time! Having only stayed at crowded campgrounds before, this was a dream come true, especially for our dog. We actually stayed in the Salmon Pool Trail site, but all of the sites seem to be very private and with well-thought-out amenities. The trails to the river were very choose-your-own-adventure through dry riverbeds and tons of lilacs. We spent two sunny days relaxing on the river without seeing a single other person—just eagles, hawks, cranes, deer and fish. Robin was very communicative and helpful before and during our stay. I didn’t want to leave, but we will be back soon for sure!

Robin’s land is super special. You can tell a lot of thoughtfulness went into our campsite and accommodations and it was a perfect landing spot for a last minute, weekend getaway with the kids. The creek is gorgeous and the trail down the river is the perfect walk for littles. We hope to return!

Really appreciated the thoughtfulness with which Robin set up the campsites! We had everything we needed and then some. Especially grateful to Robin for accommodating us with a last-minute booking. The river is lovely, too!

This just wasn’t for us. We didn’t love the two steep bridges (easy without a load of crap from the car, but very difficult with it). Also, we thought there would be easy access to the river for lounging, but the area is overgrown and the river has moved a bit, I was told. You can get through the weeds to see the river, but there’s nowhere to sit and enjoy it near camp. You can access the river through a trail back up by the house, thankfully and we did several times.

We loved staying on Robin’s land, lots to explore and we enjoyed our beautiful quiet site. She really has built a magical little escape in a wonderfully located part of the Olympic Peninsula. Would definitely stay there again!

Right off the highway but nestled in a stand of trees near some little streams . You’ll need to use the carts to roll your stuff across a little floating bridge and onto a small island that is essentially a giant sandbar. The campsite has some flat places for your tent and has a curtain for privacy. There is also a little tent with a bucket shower pump, and also another little tent with a bucket toilet. There is another campsite, relatively close by, but there are natural barriers that give you some privacy. There is also a water spigot nearby.

A private quite getaway

One of my favorite Hipcamp sites. It’s unique and a lovely Hipcamp site. We could barely hear our neighbors. It was a beautiful spot immersed in the trees. Woke up to a family of deer in our site. Firewood available on site. No complaints and would highly recommend.

Robin was such a great host! She was there when we arrived and showed us to our site. The shower tent and compost toilet were ready to use. Although we didn’t need the shower, having the compost toilet was great. We fit two tents snuggly, but had plenty of room to hang out. Privacy was great and I loved listening to the river flow as I fell asleep.

Robin &her property are lovely gems

Lovely property and Robin is very kind. Enjoy wildlife and serenity of the camp area. The close proximity to lavender farms and O.N.P. recreation is perfect for base camp location.

We stayed for 2 nights on Robin's land and loved every minute! Robin was a very gracious and welcoming host who has an amazing vision for her sites. They all came well equipped with restrooms, showers, hammocks, trash, and even an area to wash your dishes. I would definitely come back!

Robyn was an amazing host. Her campsite was a walk from the parking on her property to the site, however she provides carts and makes it easy to traverse with well kept walking areas and ramps. It’s a short drive into town with full amenities for showering and bathroom campsite but you would never know you’re in or near a town from the seclusion of her private sites.

Robin's location is beautiful and conveniently located. The bed was very comfy. Robin was an attentive host; we had an issue with the water heater, and she immediately came to the site to address it. I wish we had had more time to enjoy the beautiful site.

It was such a beautiful place and being so close to town you really don’t hear cars but once in awhile. You primarily hear the river and so many birds and squirrels. Robin really really makes sure you have everything you need and is so nice. It is an experience that makes us want to come every year at least.

We had a lovely time on Robin’s land! The Salmon Pool site felt secluded and private. Being so close to the river was a big plus, we enjoyed swimming and wading. We were also impressed with how peaceful and quiet it was for being so close to Highway 101. Robin was a great host and made sure we were doing well and had everything we needed. We will be back!

Surrounding area was beautiful with lots of easy access to the river, Great shorter hikes accessible straight from camp. Our camp had chairs and firewood provided, sites also come with a shower system and a bathroom. Area was spacious and private and the sound of the river made it so you couldn't hear other campers at all. The site was only a few minute drive into the heart of town but felt secluded as if it wasn't near a town at all. Overall it was definitely one of the best sites I've stayed in and would highly recommend if you're in the Sequim area!

Peaceful and accommodating

What a wonderful experience. The site is on shared property, but separated by a privacy fence and felt much more private and separated than I initially expected. Had everything I needed; only need to bring clothes and hygiene products. Amenities abound. Bought dinner to grill over the fire at a lovely country store approximately 1.5 miles away. Very quiet and peaceful, with easy access to forest and riverside trails. I did encounter other hikers each time I went out on the trails, so leashing dogs recommended, with plenty of off-leash space available on the river, by the site. Pellet stove kept the tent warm at night. Host was gracious and kind. This was my first HipCamp, and this experience exceeded my expectations. Worth every cent, and then some. Grateful for the privilege to have had this experience, and will likely return.
