Red Cliff Camp #3
Safe and Secluded
Loved this camp spot! Beautiful location, easy to find, felt safe, but also private and secluded. Wind definitely kicked up at night but the sky was amazing! Would stay again maybe a different time of year.
Red Cliff Camp #4
The spot had beautiful scenery and was very close to Capitol reef hikes and the main town. It was easy to find and the hosts seemed friendly. I know the weather is out if the hosts control but it was an extremely windy spot for a tent. I didn’t get any sleep either night that I stayed there because of how loud it was. If you stay here, I’d plan to sleep in your car or RV because the wind smacking against the tent made it unbearable. The other tent spots were closer than expected but everyone was very respectful of one another. The trash was overflowing when I left. Port o potty was super clean!
Red Cliff Camp #1
Good value, but primitive
This camp had pluses and minuses. Pluses include a great rate, clear directions, and close proximity to Capitol Reef, as well as a clean site and clean Porta-Potty. Minuses include a very basic site and a very exposed area (all fine dirt). If you camp here, bring your own table and camp chairs; all that was there were some tree stumps.

Red Cliff Camp #1
Amazing views with flat spots. Easy to find off main road and close to the national park

Red Cliff Camp #1
Campsite was as described. Beautiful remote location, appreciated the clean portaloo. We had good phone signal whilst staying there. (I'll note that the only downside was the wind which made everything sandy and gritty, but that is obviously very variable!)
