This was a great experience, the host was there to greet me and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The lake is great for a swim, especially on a hot day. The dog Jack was so cute too! I would recommend it!

A gorgeous spot next to the pond with lots of privacy, an extremely welcoming host who provided us with everything we needed, an adorable little dog (and chickens!) who kept us company for our morning coffee... What is there to say: our stay there was simply perfect! We hope to be back sometime, thanks so much for having us ;)

Lovely and picturesque property, our host Moon couldn't have been nicer. We had ana amazing fire by the lake and camped. Moon was very accommodating with our last minute booking. Jack the dog was a nice treat too!

The camp dog Jack Sparrow is adorable. I had the site on the water. Isolated and gorgeous. Not far from a small, walkable village.

My partner and I loved staying at Moon's serene Hip Camp! There were multiple options for camping spots (either near the house or more secluded in the forest) all around the small lake equipped with fire pits and tables/chairs. Our host kept us well stocked with jugs of cold drinkable water, hot water for tea and coffee, fresh eggs for breakfast from the chickens on the property, camomile tea, as well as letting us taste test her syrups she harvested and processed herself! We had a nice chat with her, but she also gave us our space to relax. Very hospitable and welcoming even with our late arrival. Great communication throughout our stay. It's a very peaceful spot. We'll miss Captain Jack Sparrow! Would definitely recommend this spot to a friend.

What a beautiful private spot by the pond! We enjoyed the sunset and watched the ducks. We had to change the day of our arrival at the last minute and our hosts were very kind. Upon our arrival, they showed us all around the property. We hope to go back to this peaceful woods again!

This is a beautiful spot with a couple nooks in which to camp, some more private and practical than others. We biked there from Montreal and arrived in late afternoon, greeted with a fire that had already been started for us and a really nice tour of the grounds. The small pond is wonderful to swim in with frogs singing through the night. Our hosts also kindly offered us fresh eggs in the morning.
The down sides for us had to do with feeling like we had to choose between the access to the water, picnic table, etc. to prepare dinner and having privacy from the the house and a sense of seclusion. The first camp site is well equipped (table, fire pit + utensils, chairs) but right in front of the house, which has quite a lot of accumulated stuff in the front garden. Though our hosts invited us to move chairs and furniture from the garden to the spot where we wanted to be, it felt a bit like camping in their front yard and like a project in progress but not completed. They are working on setting up another camp site, so we're intrigued to see how it evolves and visit again if we are passing through the region.

They were the best hosts! They had tea and water ready, any recreational activities you could ask for. The property was beautiful. We chose what I think was site 2, the middle site between the house side and carrying everything further into the woods. If I had more time I would have loved to explore more and take the boat out on the lake.

I love spending the night at Moon's place, I have an RV and she helped me parked it, I set up a fire, it was really quiet and nice! Moon's dogs is really cute and friendly. I would 100% recommande this place 🥰

Nice camping experience! Dog and chickens were cute. A small private cozy experience great if you have young children. Host was very kind with us and helped us during our stay. A small little pond/lake with some fishes that do leg exfoliation great to relax. Would recommend if you don’t like noisy camping sites.

A tranquil place offering a nice escape from the city. Moon and her husband have 3 camping spots on their property. One in the forest by the little lake, one in the woods and one for car camping on the other side of the lake. It's a restful place with 3 chickens and a sweet little dog named Jack who loves to play. They have a nice firepit with a grate that you can cook on and have well water on the property, the facilities are rustic. Overall a charming place away from the city with lovely hosts.

This was a wonderful experience! They were so welcoming and the location is lovely! I chose the camp site closest to the house because I wanted to be close to the pond and the fire pit, but there are a couple of sites that are more remote. They provided firewood, but you might consider bringing your own if you want to ensure the wood is dry. (Their wood isn't covered so can be rained on.) If you go in the warmer months, be sure to bring a bathing suit to enjoy a swim in the pond. And bring ear plug if the chirping of the frogs is going to keep you awake!

Great first hipcamp experience for us! Our hosts (and very cute dog) were lovely and very welcoming. We had a choice of spots to camp and we were given water and fresh eggs - very much appreciated. The area is very quiet and beautiful, only suggestion would be to bring ear plugs in case the frogs are loud at night again! Would recommend to others, we're looking forward to coming back next time we're in the area.

This was one of the most wonderful camping experiences we've had!
The location was absolutely gorgeous our hosts were so wonderful. Almost everything was provided for us (water, firewood, chairs, etc.) which allowed us to relax and really enjoy our stay.
Plus, the family dog, Jack makes for an awesome camping buddy!
