4WD/ATV or walk-in access only with a rough 2km of road to access campsites. Campsites are located along remote undeveloped lake with clear mostly spring-fed water. Sites are located further down on the lake where you will be able to drive to with the appropriate vehicle (listed above). To access swimming water, you will need to boat out into the lake a bit as the sites are located in a low-water area. Great for snorkeling and swimming, but to get out further into the lake where the best areas are for both these activities you will need a watercraft (paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, or small boats). On the lake itself is an island commonly used for nesting birds, and the water is both clean and clear. There is also endless ATV trails adjacent to the property, so there is more to enjoy than just the lake itself.

The Dam site is alongside a creek that connects to the main water with a dam in-between. You will have both access to the creek and to the lake itself. Very private site as it is down off the road. Smaller site and can only handle tent camping.

Blue's Landing is a very large site, with a small rock cliff framing the edge of the lake and giving the perfect landing for the fireplace. Small water's edge landing for anyone looking to fish. This site can hold tent trailers and other smaller methods of camping (i.e., tents, tent hammocks, etc). To bring your trailer into the site though you will need a truck that can handle pulling it.

Long weekend at the Dam

I had a lovely Labour Day weekend at the dam. The site is huge, private, and Trapper Lake was perfect for paddleboarding. The hike in was beautiful, but be prepared for LOTS of hills 😅 it was a fun challenge for my dog & I! Kelly is very thoughtful, communicative, and offers assistance in/out if needed. The only downside was noise from the other site. There's a good distance between sites, but unfortunately the sound traveled across the lake and they got quite rowdy. I would love to stay again, but maybe at a time when the other site is not booked!

Blue's Landing is breathtaking, extremely well maintained and a perfect place for friends, family and pets! The host, Kelly is lovely and very helpful if you need directions or have any questions. What a beautiful place, and a wonderful experience.

The site was absolutely stunning! By far the most beautiful site we've ever camped at! When it says AWD only they really do mean it, thanks to our lack of diligence, we had a front wheel drive van and struggled but Kelly was an amazing host and helped us out when we needed it. I could not recommend this site more!

Blue's Landing
We had a great time staying at Blue’s Landing! The site itself is secluded and spacious, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Kelly was super responsive and came to our rescue right away when we got lost on the way — we really appreciated that! Be aware that part of the trail leading to the campground can be steep and rocky, so keep an eye on your vehicle and trailer clearance. The boat launch area had shallow water during our visit, and our inflatable dingy struggled a bit getting through the shallowest part. Trapper Lake is scenic, the water is clean, and the fishing was decent. Just a heads-up: it may not be the best for young kids to play in the water, as the shallow areas are all covered with some kind of algae. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. Thanks again, Kelly, for being such a helpful and welcoming host!

This is THE best site we’ve been to, very quiet, scenic and the pit toilet is surprisingly clean and tidy. You definitely need 4x4 capability with high clearance to get to the site. Kelly is a great host, she swing by at our first day to make sure everything is ok. Would definitely recommend.

Well another GREAT weekend comes to an end. It’s never long enough. Kelly was and is as awesome as ever. Not storm this time around nothing but sunshine. Site was clean and great as always. It BIG and off grid. Perfect, we had lots of room for our dog and love the ride in….. little rough but with a truck or suv your good to go. Can’t wait till next time.

Extremely great place to relax. We had a great time. Kelly was the best as when we stayed got hit with a big storm and came out that night/AM to make sure we are safe. The site is large and clean, has a nice fire pit with grill. More than enough room for a family getaway. I hope to make it back a few times a year.

Highly recommend blues landing for larger groups and anybody looking for an off grid camping experience with no neighbours in sight. There was a portapotty on site which looked like it's never been used before, dry firewood for sale by the front gate, beautiful view of the water and a large clearing easily able to accommodate a bigger group. Please note there is practically no phone service on the property & the site is only accessible by pickup truck or 4x4 vehicle. Do not try to access the campsite with a regular sedan vehicle. The water at the camp site is not ideal for swimming but if you have a canoe or small boat you can use that to access the main lake which is very close where you can swim .. fish .. etc. Overall it's a fantastic camping spot ! Would definitely come here again .. thanks Kelly !

Site is quite private, very scenic, clean and well managed. Host, Kelly came on our arrival night to check that everything was fine. Access road was a challenge on fully loaded adventure bikes. 50/50 tires highly recommended.

What a large beutiful site this was! We went to Kelly’s other site on ball lake last year and these all never disappoint. This site was huge and lots of space for tents. There was a boat launch right on site and a clean out house. Also the most private you will get probabaly. Not another single group in site or sound. Lots of great state gazing as well! The swimming was not great, we had to boat out a bit to get to a cleaner spot. Was worth it though to cool off. Kelly was great and responsive as always and helped some of our friends find the site when they got lost. There was also fire supplies there and a bucket which was handy . (And a string to hang towels) overall great location if you want a large, lake front and very private site!
