My wife and I went there to stay the weekend, we loved that and we are definitely going there again!
Angela and Arnold are awesome hosts! We felt super welcomed to their place.
The place is lovely and seems that it has come out straight from a storybook, the birds that come at our hands, super relaxing and intimate.
They have a nice bbq, the space is well organized and clean, and have everything that we needed to just relax without worries.
If you are wondering if you should go there’s or not, take my word, you are gonna love it, please go.
To Angela and Arnold, thank you so much for the great conversations and laughter, we felt like we’ve known each other for a while!

We loved our stay! Angie and Arnold were very warm and accommodating, the place was cozy, and it was so nice to feed the birds in the morning. A very peaceful and tranquil getaway. Highly recommend for Hipcamp travellers!

The little cabin in the woods. Fairytale setting and birds that make anyone feel like Snow White. Amazing hosts and tranquility beyond expectations. Very clean, and close to Bobcaygeon and Fenelon Falls. Would recommend this for anyone wanting peace and unplugged time away.

Our stay at Angie and Arnold’s cottage was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed not just as guests, but as part of their family. The cottage itself was perfect. spotlessly clean, beautifully kept, and filled with a sense of peace that made our time there feel like a retreat.
What made our stay even more special were the wonderful conversations we shared with Angie and Arnold. We spoke about life, spirit, and so much more, it was meaningful in a way that touched us deeply. Their kindness and warmth created memories we will carry with us for a long time.
We had so much fun and joy during our stay, and every moment felt like a gift. Angie and Arnold are truly the best hosts we could have ever hoped for. Thank you for making our experience so unique and memorable, we can’t wait to return!

We absolutely loved our stay at Angela and Arnold’s little cabin! The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend getaway: electricity, a microwave, a mini fridge, and a spotless, odour-free toilet. The barbecue worked perfectly, and the cabin itself was cozy and well-stocked with blankets, a pull-out sofa bed, tea and coffee, cutlery, and utensils.
Angela and Arnold were fantastic hosts—friendly, helpful, and always available when needed, yet respectful of our privacy. They even took us to see the animals on their property (horses, bull, and chickens) and to feed the chickadees, which was such a special experience.
The location is ideal too—just a short drive to Bobcaygeon, where you can enjoy some ice cream or relax by the lock.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

We had a wonderful stay in Angie’s cabin! We stayed in the Woodland’s Hideaway cabin and it definitely lived up to its name- very secluded and cozy. Angie and Arnold are available and helpful hosts and helped make our stay great!

My time at Spirit Ridge was really wonderful. Angie and Arnold are very kind and welcoming people. I felt safe and free to explore on their property. The cabin was lovely and just what I needed and the bathroom was surprisingly very luxurious!

We loved this cozy little cabin and waking up to the peaceful forest sounds and sights. Angela and Arnold were very welcoming. They were friendly and great to have a chat with. We even got to meet their horses Sugar and Holly! Just a lovely piece of land to spend a couple of nights on.

I absolutely loved my time alone up north. Meeting the animals was a highlight and Angie and Arnold were lovely, generous hosts I felt at home with. I came back home feeling so relaxed and can't wait to come back. Bobcaygeon is such a great place to explore.

Overall we had a fantastic experience at Angie and Arnold’s property!
Angie and Arnold are excellent hosts, they welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. From helping us carry our bags to our bunkies with a wagon, showing us the animals on their farm, and sharing a campfire with us, we felt truly grateful for them.
The bunkies themselves are also great. Everything was spotless and it had everything we needed. Even the composting toilet was way beyond my expectations. No smell, perfectly clean, and non-potable running water to wash hands with!
The location of the property is also ideal. Close to town but far enough to have very little cell signal and truly disconnect. There was just enough signal to get a text through, which is all we wanted.
Was great to be able to drive about 15 minutes to Fenelon Falls and about 10 minutes to Bobcaygeon, we were able to enjoy the shops and get lunch during the day and come back to our cozy bunkie for a bbq dinner and campfire.
We’re definitely going to be back, it’s truly excellent spot for a weekend getaway.

The bunkie at Woodland Hideaway is really, really lovely. It is nestled nicely in the woods (a mostly cedar forest), within a short walk to your parking and the hosts’ home. Angela and Arnold were excellent hosts and checked in on us frequently enough for us to know they cared and were taking care of us, but not too much that we felt our space hampered. Would highly recommend staying here.

My spouse and I had an amazing and unforgettable two days. The location was perfect — right in the forest, yet so close to the city center. It’s definitely a must-visit for nature lovers.
Everything in the cottage was thoughtfully prepared and very clean. Angie and Arnold were truly wonderful hosts. They checked in to see if we needed anything and were always happy to help.
Thank you so much — we feel lucky to have met such kind people. We definitely want to come back again!

We had the best weekend getaway at Spirit Ridge Acres! Angela and Arnold were the greatest hosts I’ve ever experienced and made the entire trip so enjoyable and safe! You can really tell they love what they are doing and put a lot of effort into ensuring everyone has a nice time.
The cabin was clean and comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed a fire every evening with our hosts and the other couple renting the second cabin which was awesome! There are plenty of trails and they even took us out to the field to pet the horses and Scottish highland cow!
If you’re looking for a getaway, look no further :)

Angie and Arnie have done a fantastic job with their bunkies! Their hospitality and kindness made it feel like you were right at home!! They offer amazing trails, cozy bunkies, a great communal fire pit where we got to meet other visitors and spend the night telling stories and getting to know everyone. The amenities they offer is all you need on a weekend away with a BBQ, microwave, mini fridge, indoor and outdoor eating spaces and a very clean and comfortable washroom. Their animals are very friendly and welcoming as well and the wildlife ensures you have that wilderness escape. This was the first time my wife and I had gone on one of these weekend escapes and I would recommend Angie and Arnies paradise to anyone. I know we will surely be back to visit!! Very fortunate for having met these two amazing individuals 😀

We had an amazing night at Angie and Arn's place! The cabin was all set for us on arrival, and Arn gave us a tour of the whole property. The cabin was very comfortable and felt very homey. Plus we were able to explore the property on the ever growing hiking trails they're clearing. We also stopped into their workshop studio where they sell custom woodworking and gem pieces! We walked away with an awesome new wooden shelf. We'd absolutely recommend staying here and plan on returning soon.

We loved our time in the Forest Chalet! Every amenity was thought of. Arnold and Angie are great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin and washroom were super clean. Loved the decor right down to the little hoof prints on the bar! We enjoyed our morning breakfast looking out at the forest and listening to the 🐦 birds. Nothing but silence and nature which we all need. We also enjoyed walking down the paths through the forest and a visit with their two horses 🐎 who enjoyed treats and grooming. Can't wait to return again. Thanks so much Arnold and Angie 😀

We stayed at the Woodland's hideaway for 3 days and had the best time ever! Angela and Arnold are the sweetest hosts you will ever meet and have made our time at the cabin absolutely delightful. The property is amazing, well maintained and a dream for nature lovers. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place for you. The cabin is cozy, equipped with a microwave, coffee machine, small cooler, a barbecue and cute sit out. Angie and Arnold go out of their way to ensure everything is perfect. It was hard for us to leave the place given the wonderful time we had. Special shout-out to Bear, one of the cutest dogs you'll meet. He definitely adds to the charm of the place. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit the beautiful town of Bobcaygeon.

We spent an amazing time in the beautiful scenery ❣️The forest green morning is worth everything ❤️ The cabin we found in a very great and clean shape. Angela and her husband are very professional hosts ✨️and I fell in love with the cutest and happiest dog they have. At the end of our journey we visited the wood craft store,which is located at the same farm and you have to no know, that they are the real artists! and we come back home ,not only relaxed but also with a great pieces of art made by this beautiful people 💕
We definitely will be back to check how amazing can be the place in the fall time. 💕
