Named one of the best Hipcamps to visit in 2023.
Located in the hamlet of Mosborough on 113 acres, this is a working farm with open fields, an old orchard, and 27 acres of forest. We are a short drive to Guelph Lake, the Elora Gorge, Guelph to Goderich rail trail, and a 25-minute drive to St Jacob's farmers market. And a 1.4 km walk to a small country market and bakery. A great site for families that you can call home and plan day trips around the area, or hang out at the campsite. Firewood is available for purchase on-site. We have 3 campsites that are spread out on 4 acres of grass. 1 site is used for temporary summer trailers, 2 are for camping. Pets are welcome, but keep them on a leash. Please remember to remove all garbage and recycling from campsites, a compost bin is available on site by the garden. A portable toilet is available from May 15 to the end of thanksgiving weekend in October. And please note that we are located beside an active rail line that is used by the Go Train, VIA Rail and freighters, there are trains that pass throughout the night. A 2 night stay is required for summer weekends. We look forward to hosting you!

At Orchard campsite, you will have 1 acre to yourself, it includes a firepit and picnic table with shared electrical hook ups. It has a great farm view , and the site can accommodate a big game of Bocce Ball, there is so much space for children to run around. Firewood is available for $10 per bag, this can be pre-ordered with your booking, or purchased on site. Please note that it's beside an RV site, but the cedar row of trees provide decent privacy. It is also within 200ft of an active rail line that is used by VIA, the Go Train and freighters (including trains during the night).

Big Apple is 1/2 acre private and spacious site with great farm views. It has a firepit and picnic table with electrical hook up and can accommodate two vehicles. Several trees offer shade relief at various times throughout the day. Firewood is available for $10 per bag, this can be pre-ordered with your booking, or purchased on site. Please note there is a single RV located next to this site, but a cedar tree line and shed provides lots of privacy. It is also within 400ft of an active rail line that is used by VIA, the Go Train and freighters (including trains during the night).

The train wasn't very bothersome, there was plenty of space for my friends and I, not many bugs giving us a hard time, and lots of flat space for us all to have our tents set up. Nothing went wrong, and everything went right! Great spot to stay at!

Tent camping on Jason’s land was great! it’s very secluded, spacious and scenic. I will say make sure to bring your bug spray you will need it! I think the field and Apple trees attract them. It was nice to relax and watch the stars as long as your ok hearing the train drive by sometimes, it is closer then I thought! I didn’t mind it!

I went so many times these campsite, still wonderful place. Im not getting bored / tired either.. a good place to relax with friends and families..i always recommend this wonderful place..but my concerned is the washroom.. I hope Mr.Jason have time to upgrade the washroom and shower..

I loved the site. Was private, porta potty was clean, there was a water tap. Site one doesn’t have a ton of shade but was more private then the other site option! Very good trails and good amount of shopping near

Campsite is very secluded and has space for plenty of vehicles/activities. Trains run right next to the campsite and are quite loud but are infrequent. Power hookup is two plugs shared between camp 1 & 2 and the toilet is a portaloo but all in all a lovely campsite, would stay again

Very pretty spot to camp. I decided to stay on site 2 and have mixed feelings about it. The ground is on a slope while also having tiers. There was one mostly level spot to put a tent on and I used almost 50 feet of extension cord to get powered up. Other folks have mentioned the trains and while there are many that go by, they are short. I would definitely stay again, just not on site 2.

Second tine staying her. Great location! The railway tracks are very close and busy in the early evening but after 8 or so it dies off and is very peaceful.

My wife and I had a lovely quiet evening here on the orchard 2 site. Lots of space for anything and plenty of room between sites if you're looking for privacy. We had morning coffee watching the sunrise over the fields. Firewood that we purchased on site was ample. I have enough for 3 more trips!

Jason was very accommodating for our last minute reservation. We got in late and had trouble getting setup on a bit of a slope, so he offered to move us to campsite 1 which was much flatter. The view and peace and quiet when we woke up was incredible! Thanks!

Jason’s sites were as described. They were quiet and large. Running water and electricity hook ups were in ideal spots. A couple large trees gave some much needed shade in the heat of the summer. Very quiet for the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life

View was relaxing. Port a potty was not serviced...who knows who destroyed it before we came. Thankfully their are plenty of businesses close by with good restrooms.

We had 2 families and even though the weather was a bit rainy, we loved the camp. Lots of firewood, clean campsite, stuff for the kids to explore and amazing skies!

Overall the area was okay.....Orchard site 2 is NOT for campers/trailers or motorhomes, way to uneven and the trees need to be cut back and the electricity needs to be closer unless you bring a longer shoreline. After much trying to camp on this site we had to abandon the site and camped in another location which had no shade. Bring plenty of OFF, the mosquitos will carry you off (this was May/June)

Rolled in in my bus and stayed 2 nights. There were large bags wood on hand for $10 and a Johnny on the spot. Beautiful views and very private. Big picnic table and fire pit.

This is a great spot to camp for the weekend. Fields as far as the eye can see, very well maintained grounds, clean porta potty, water available, & dry wood for purchase. We stayed for 2 nights at site 1 and would absolutely go back. Jason was super helpful and responsive.

Me and my buddies came to this site to have a campfire and enjoy the night. While it was pouring rain, we set up a canopy, lit the fire, and enjoyed the views. Would 100% come back!
