Learn more about this land: Come set up camp on our peaceful property in a rural area just outside of St. Catharines. We have 10 tent or RV campsites that can hold a maximum of 10 guests each. Our open space has one firepit, and pets are welcome. We’re within walking distance of two wineries and the popular hiking trails of Short Hills Provincial Park.   There is no toilet on the property, but there is a picnic table for your use, and Wi-Fi is available. RVs will park on a grassy surface. There are no hookups, and generators are not allowed.  For restaurants and stores, downtown St. Catherine’s is just 8 km away. Henry of Pelham Family Estate Winery and Hernder Estate Wines are within a few kilometres’ walk, and Short Hills Provincial Park sits just south of the property and is known for its many hiking trails including one to Swayze Falls. Mel Swart Lake Gibson Conservation Park on Lake Gibson is less than 10 km east.

      Generally a fine place to park and camp for the night. Host is responsive and the site is quiet and level. Picnic table and fire ring were a bit unkempt, so not particularly inviting.

      I came last minute to book Glen's site for my thru-hike and was accommodated wonderfully. Glen was quick to respond to the number provided and made sure I had everything I needed! Thanks for the water! Would definitely stop here again or recommend to a friend. This spot is perfect for hiking the Bruce Trail as it is so close! 10/10

      Glen's place is a perfect getawy for some peaceful country relaxation or a brief one night stopover on your way somewhere. He was friendly and attentive, very easy to keep in touch with regarding the details of the stay. There's Wi Fi, a fire pit with some wood, a pond with bull frogs and fireflies. Parking is in a more secluded area of the property than the pictures indicate. They have the biggest lawn I've ever seen! I would definitely return.
