We have taken some time to improve our location and now offer 1 full serviced site and 1 tenting site. Sayward has such a variety of outdoor gems to explore. Fishing, kayaking, hiking, exploring waterfalls, lakes and river oasis’s. You are truly immersed in nature no matter which direction you choose. Having your base here you come back at the end of your day still immersed in the beauty of the surrounding land. We do have a ton of wildlife so please be aware of this. Elk are frequent visitors (and not fans of dogs). Cougar, wolves and bear have also been around these parts for centuries and still continue to visit. Please contain garbage to decrease chances of human/wildlife conflict.

Nestled in the Sayward Valley on Vancouver Island, B.C. You are surrounded by mountains, wildlife and amazing photographic opportunities. The Salmon river is a short 12 min walk away and the ocean, boasting amazing fishing, is a 5 min drive down the road. Elk are frequent visitors to this location so please make sure dogs are under control at all times! The vast expanse of forest surrounding the Sayward Valley provides numerous hiking, quadding, caving, swimming in several surrounding lakes and limitless adventures on the backroads.

Site 1 - Natures Hideaway!

This was an easy place to spend 1 night while passing through. I would not spend more than a day here, it definitely feels like you're in someone's back yard, and with neighbors junk nearby, it wasn't the most beautiful campsite. It was definitely nice for kids to have an outhouse and it was spacious enough for our mega Costco tent.
