We are offering camping for the 2025 Summer season at Elk Ridge Guest Ranch. During your stay check out the agricultural heritage exhibit on display. Located in a wildlife corridor, there is also plenty of opportunity to experience nature as the elk and deer graze the fields. We are conveniently located 3 minutes from the town site with pub, golf course, churches, convenience store & laundromat. We are 5 minutes from Rosen Lake, 10 minutes from Tie Lake, and 20 minutes from the Koocanusa Marina and Baynes Lake Farmers Market. This is where the Kootenay Lifestyle meets rustic charm! -Power & water available. -No Sani-dump, but weekly pumper service is available locally. DIRECTIONS: Don’t trust google maps - it will lead you to the wrong driveway. Turn instead at the timber framed Elk Ridge Ventures sign (see cover photo) and drive down the driveway until you see the campsite signs.

We loved the campsite. It was quiet with just us there, and Linnae and Rusty could not have been more welcoming and helpful. A wonderful space.

Linnaea's campsite was quiet, clean and easy to find. It was a great place to stop over for the night. I would re ommend to anyone with a tent or trailer.

For the money being asked I would expect more - there is nothing separating the sites, no shower, a pit toilet, shared table, no shade, loud trucks and trains rumbling by.

Shady, Spacious, and So Welcoming

Linnaea and Rusty have such a beautiful property, matched by their thoughtfulness in the camp setup. We use Hipcamp a lot and this one had much more provided with our stay than any other. Elk and deer meandered around the site, horses munched on grass in their giant pasture behind a fence just a few feet away. 20/30A power and water provided with each spot, there’s also a very clean toilet and a propane bbq to use. The picnic table and the free firewood were another bonus. Our kids had a chance to spend time working the farm (feeding goats and chickens) with the family who own the property and live further up their road. Their kids are really great. Google maps leads you a little astray when you go to make the turn off the highway, look for the “Elk Ridge Ventures” sign and turn directly up their road. It’s much easier than google says. Our kids are already asking us to stay again on our way home and we are looking at our route to include this spot again. Room for pretty much any size rig, we are 28’ trailer plus truck and had no issues. Sites 1-3 are more in a sort of circle and sites 4-7 are spacious side by side spots. Tons of shade, level parking spots. Great tent spots if needed. Huge fire pit, wood provided. There is the occasional train noise from across the highway but nothing that bothered us as it wasn’t very often. Dogs are welcome on leash or tie out. Thank you for such a great spot, we hope to stay again!

Nice flat sites with a fair amount of shade. Spotless, good smelling port-a-potty. Horses across the road and elk viewing in the early morning.
