Our Hixon. B.C., Canada campground is located on Highway 97, only 35 minutes either from, Prince George to the North or Quesnel to the South. Our treed and creek side adventure is one of the most beautiful best kept secrets in the central interior of British Columbia, Canada. Our BC Campground is situated in a treed and creek setting. We are surrounded by nature, entertained by wildlife while still providing clean facilities and conveniences to enhance your camping experience. Enjoy the Eco-nature trails nestled among magnificent evergreens and towering cottonwoods. Or pan for Gold along the two creeks that surround 3 sides of the campground. Our treed campsites are large and provide plenty of space for RVs, pull trailers and tenting. Some sites are drive-through for larger units. 45 campsites set in a pristine forest setting covering 7.2 hectares (18 acres) where the Canyon and Hixon Creeks meet. We have campsites available for RVs, pull trailers and tenting. 20 Full RV hookups with 30 AMP, potable water & sewer Including 8 Big rig friendly – pull thru sites 3 Back – in with 30 AMP, potable water 15 Secluded non-serviced sites Sani-dump – free to guests Fire pits & picnic tables at each site

This was a return stay for me - the site is safe and secure for a solo female traveler, has toilets and showers, and is super convenient. The host/manager was available when I arrived and the site itself had both grass and gravel to choose from for pitching my tent.

This was a perfect little stop overnight. I had a flat graveled tent site with grass surrounding, there’s full service bathrooms and showers, and the creek is quite close. They’ve developed a nice little path along the river to explore. I’ll stay again.
