Wonderfully private! Come give our land some love as it recovers from the 2021 Sparks Lake forest fire. Acres and acres to hike, mountain bike and snowshoe. Surrounded by crown land there is no lack of space to explore and easy access to forest service roads to quad and bike. Many lakes near by for fishing and kayaking. Wildlife galore! There are wild flowers and plants so come forage and explore. Disconnect from the busyness of city life! Coming soon - guided hikes, foraging and information about local medicinal plants. Apothecary on site! A beautiful creek flows right by the campsite, dip your feet in. You can go for walks or nap under the Aspens! We are one hour outside of Kamloops on a maintained public gravel road, however AWD or 4WD recommended during late fall to late spring. Google maps may show coming to our property from Savona but the easiest drive is from Kamloops. Head to the Kamloops airport then follow Tranquille Criss Creek Road. Detailed directions available after booking!We have a nice level spot near the creek. Private site near the pasture field to relax under the aspens. Drift off to sleep with the sound of the creek. Hear the loons on the nearby Sparks Lake. There are trails on the property to walk, bike or hike. Forage in late spring for mullein, fireweed, wild flowers, yarrow and much more. Private fire pit or propane fires allowed during the fire ban. Surrounded by crown land it's easy access to bike or quad onto nearby forest service roads. Take a drive out to Deadman Falls or Vidette Lake approximately an hour away. Spotty cell service approximately 10 to 20 minutes away. There is access to wifi near the house if you need to check emails or messages!

We had a lovely stay on JoAnne’s beautiful property! JoAnne was very helpful and very easy to communicate with! Would 100% recommend her place to stay if you are looking for a nice quiet getaway!

A breathtaking experience

The place was just breathtaking, we were at peace and relaxed, as we felt alone surrounded by nature. JoAnne and Marshall were so welcoming and nice, we are still so stunned by their story and how they overcame it. Thank you again, take care !

Magical

What an absolute magical experience. We are inexperienced campers and this was our first time camping with our little one. She loved every minute of it. There were grasshoppers everywhere and a little creek. (It's been hot, so it wasn't as full as we'd hoped, but my little one still enjoyed the muddy shore). The night sky is worth the drive up. It feels as though you could reach up and touch the stars, and absolute surreal experience. The echos that could be heard throughout the night were really cool. We were awaken by a small heard of cows grazing near by and some of them even found there way to our side of the creek. My kid loved it. Creekside has been through a lot over the last few years and it was a nice touch to learn a little bit about the land and the owners.
