Heaven on earth

It was my first time camping and it will be my most memorable stay Corey is a great host, she posted all the instructions on how to arrive at the site in advance. There are 4 sites but when we arrived there were no other campers which made our trip more adventurous We stayed at site #1, the bed is comfy and the view early morning is breathtaking Please take the woods bundle pack from Corey. It will be cheaper for you and you can use as much as you can

Corey's place is located in a nice and quiet area with a babbling stream basically at your front door. Excellent, clean structures with tremendous beds. We had a great time.

The site was super cute and welcoming! The tent and bed were super spacious and comfortable. There are fire pits scattered around the site and they even have one down near the creek with chairs and fairy lights! Absolutely delightful stay and my boyfriend loved it for his surprise gift!

This was so lovely! The tents are clean and tidy, and very cozy and warm. The bed and bedding were toasty and comfy. The land was beautiful and the small creek was so refreshing. The outhouse was very tidy and nicely organized, but a bit smellier: it was right after a long weekend, so no surprises after lots of use! It can be a bit tricky to find in the dark and there’s no GPS, so be sure to read the detailed directions very closely BEFORE you lose service, unlike me 😅 Overall, a lovely little getaway space, peaceful and remote, but close to town for needs, and just a quick drive to Waterton. I also found the host very helpful and responsive which ruled :)

Unfortunately, not a good experience at all. - The campground is first come first serve, which is not indicated anywhere. The host mentioned this a couple days before our arrival, when it’s too late to cancel or make other plans. - There’re two spots with picnic tables, both were occupied when we arrived. The site we ‘reserved’ through hipcamp was occupied. The host allowed us to stay in a different area, it has a picnic table and a fire pit, but is located next to his friend’s 3 trailers. - The next evening that friend came and told us to move our tent and stop using the picnic table. We ended up moving our camp to the middle of the field. - When confronted the host repeatedly mentioned he has 83 acres and we can camp anywhere. Which is fine, but it’s not what I paid for. If I wanted to stay in the middle of nowhere with no amenities I would camp on public land for free. - The host also isn’t available nearby to help fix any issues. Every problem needs to he solved by phone, but there’s no connection. This place could have been lovely if: - the host was upfront about the sites being first come first serve, I just wouldn’t book it in that case, but it might work for some people. - site description should be truthful, if there isn’t a picnic table on every site - just don’t list it in the description. There are many listings on hipcamp that clearly show you’ll be camping in the middle of nowhere, and at least this way you know what to expect.

Second time at Corey’s place. Who needs the calm app when you can camp here ! Tucked in a beautiful meadow down by a creek, a little piece of nature, waiting for you. Thank you Corey for this great spot to spend some downtime at. We will be back again !

Very precious site all around

The tent, land, and views were so beautiful. The creek was very nice to be around. The fire-pits were well maintained and they had a bunch of metal sticks for smores and more.

Great for a big group! Private!

Use two families loved this spot! Its great for a big group! We loved the back woods, private feel. The creek is amazing to sit in on the sunny days, so close you can hear the stream from our campers! We bought fire wood and there was lots there which was so handy. The porta-potty was kept clean as well! It was great to how power hook ups and pottable water. We had two big trailers (toyhaulers), which were a little sketchy to drive in on the dirt road because its so narrow, windy and downhill but it is definitely doable just something to keep in mind. No service in the site but you can drive 5min back down the road to get some and you can also purchase wifi. Overall a great site for 5 days to relax and be with nature! We had so much fun and would definitely come back!

Great for a big group!!

Amazing, beautiful site! Us 2 families loved the private, outdoor, back-woods feel! The creek was so nice for a sunny day, so close you can hear it from the trailers. Both of us had big trailers (toy-haulers) it was a bit sketchy to get in on the dirt road but we made it in! No service but can drive 5min back down the road to get some or you can buy wifi! There are also 2 private fire pits along with the communal one and you can buy a bundle of firewood for $10 and there’s lots there! The port-a-potty was clean! All around loved our time there, very relaxing and fun 5 days!

Serene little spot

We absolutely LOVED it here. Pulled in the first night and there was one solo tenter who departed earlier the next day. Then 2 couples rolled in late in the day but only one couple spent the night. The glamping tents looked amaaaazing and the creek that ran right behind our site added just a serene ambiance to our entire stay. If you enter via the railroad crossing, most definitely heed the lower speed signs!!! Take this crossing at no faster than 35kms!! This would be an excellent location for a group or family gathering. There's tons of space for kids to run around as well!

This location is heavenly! The creek through the property offered a beautiful spot to hang out and let the dog play. We were in a tent and had some neighbours in their trailers and guests in glamping, and still felt like we had lots of space but could hang out if we wanted. The fire pits are somewhat shared depending on how many guests are on the land. Well-stocked shared outhouse. Short drive from Beaver Mines (amazing sandwiches at the general store!). And a great home base to explore Castle Provincial Park. Thanks, Corey! We hope to be back soon!

Beautiful Bedroom in the Mountains

A very nicely decorated bedroom in the middle of the mountains! This glamping site is beautiful with views to match! The directions were easy to follow too. I would definitely come back and recommend 100% It was raining most of my stay, so I didn't get to take advantage of the creek, or have a fire. I wish I would have thought to bring more activities to keep me busy inside.

Stayed here many times and always beautiful, peaceful with wildflowers, babbling brook, mountain view and so many stars. Love the secluded set up and fire pit with lights and chairs for nighttime socializing. Lots of places to walk on the property and a quick drive to explore the area. Host is responsive and helpful. Will return.

We loved the spot, very peaceful and clean. We rented the Glamping tent, and unfortunately, the tent wasn't set for 4 people, as per our reservation. We managed to get a hold of Corey, and he offered a fair solution, but we had to fix the problem ourselves. At the end, I found it was quite expensive for 2 nights, especially with the matress issue on top of it. I would still recommend the place, but would not recommend the tent for more than 2 persons.

Beautiful, quiet property. The perfect place for some relaxing by the babbling brook, a long grass runway for playing fetch with our puppy, and good proximity as a home base for mountain biking in Crowsnest Pass. Lots of cute little spots carved out for campfires, reliable internet & power. We enjoyed our 3 July nights, what a great way to celebrate Canada Day 🇨🇦
