Imagine waking up to the sound of the river flowing and the sun rising over the breathtaking Badlands. You can experience all of this and more when you stay at our campsite. Whether you are a nature lover, an avid hiker, or simply seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, our campsite offers a secluded, peaceful retreat. Located on the world famous 30 mile Dinosour Trail, our campsite offers unparalleled access to some of the most stunning scenery in the area. From the towering hoodoos to the winding river, the beauty of the Badlands is truly unmatched. And when you stay at our campsite, you can experience it all up close and personal. But our campsite offers more than just stunning views. We also provide a range of amenities to ensure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The site is equipped with a picnic table, fire pit, and outhouse and can accommodate three RV’s up to 29 ft. in length ($44 per unit per night) or 4 tents up to a maximum of 12 people total. Close to Bleriot Ferry, we are located on the world's famous dinosaur trail. We are a 15-minute drive to the Royal Tyrrell Dinosaur Museum. You will have access to a picnic table, fire pit, and outhouse.  The site can accommodate either 3 RVs or 3 tents with a maximum of 12 people total. Lovely location, just close enough to Drumheller and the museum but far enough for some unplugged fun. Very easy to communicate with the hosts and wonderful little set up!

LOVED THIS! It was so private and beautiful. We had a fantastic, unplugged weekend in a gorgeous setting. At night the only sounds were the coyotes and the owls. I would totally book this spot again.

I had a great 2 nights here, it was very hot but there's a little trail down to the river where you have your own private spot! Beautiful area, quiet campsite and clean outhouse. Close to Drumheller for all the tourist attractions. Amazing sunsets at camp! We saw a deer, 2 bunnies, a squirrel and many birds. Host was very nice and hospitable. Definitely will return.

This site was about amazing!! Great views, huge private site and so peaceful. I would absolutely recommend to a traveller going through. Just wonderful!!!!

Beautiful property! We were greeted by Tracey, who showed us to our spot and shared some great recommendations for the area. He even gave us a fossil to take home for our son, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The property itself is quiet and relaxing—the perfect place for a peaceful getaway. Be sure to check out the nearby Orkney Viewpoint; it’s stunning!

We loved our stay!!❤️ The camping place was massive and very clean, indeed many tent campers can fit or bigger trailers has tons of room. It's included fire pit, picnic table, and deck. No water and garbage bin. So bring your own water and please take your garbage away. The washroom was cleanest washroom for an outhouse toilet, and we are avid campers saw many in our lives!! Easy access to river, although the river is a bit too high to swim or access to it. We saw chipmunk, baby rabbit, gopher, nut hatches, bats, many variety of birds!! This place is heaven for bird watchers!!! Heard the song dogs ( coyotes and longhorn owl at night) Highlite was watching the stars from the deck at night! The host couple Michelle and Trace were very welcoming. Extremly friendly and supportive! Loved the tips where to hike and explore!! We are looking dates to visit again!! Highly Recommended!!!

Michelle and Trace's river side camp is nothing short of spectacular. Spacious, private, and comfortable with incredible views. Our hosts were very welcoming and shared great information about the area. Would love to stay again next time we're in Drumheller! Take the free Bleriot Ferry and drive along the other side of the river on your way out.

We really enjoyed the lovely private space for our tent at this hipcamp.The platform was really a bonus as well. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. They graciously cleared the pathway to the river so we could access it. We did not enter the river as the heavy rains made it quite muddy when we were there. The outhouse was very clean. We really love listening to and enjoying beautiful song birds living in the area as well. Please note that this hipcamp has no access to potable/drinking water and the nearby recreation camp ground water pump was either dried up or turned off...anyways no water so bring your own. Also bring mosquito repellent as they can be a bit of a nuisance. Thank you hosts for providing us with a quiet and peaceful space.

Camping in the Badlands is such an amazing experience and Michelle's site really highlights it. The property was so beautiful and so secluded. It was the perfect weekend for our little group. We will definitely be coming back for a repeat weekend!

Beautiful, quiet, birds singing, bunnies hoping, amazing views and sunsets. What can we say, even in pouring rain we loved it. Great space that is private, a nice retreat, lovely hosts, clear directions, our dog roamed free, easy to get to local attractions in Drumheller. Thank you for an amazing stay!

The site is beautiful, and well maintained as others said. The views are stunning and I had seen others commenting that bugs and mosquitos were around but we didn't find them bad at all. Very peaceful and private. There was a bad thunderstorm one night and the host reached out to make sure we were okay, they were helpful upon arrival as well. Our toddler loved playing in the main campsite area that was very clean and mowed so we didn't have to worry much about ticks. We had our first camping experience as a family and were able to have a campfire, we hope to book again =]

Fantastic private area on the hosts property with absolutely stunning views. Excellent directions and very friendly hosts. Greeted us on the first day but after that gave us all the privacy we wanted. Perfect weekend!

The hosts are great. We left a piece of our portable stove at home, and Michelle and Tracey let us borrow their stove which totally saved our trip! Hoping we will back again :)

This was an amazing spot. Very private and quiet. There’s a really nice little deck, and a sturdy picnic table. There is a large mowed space where our dogs ran and played. And a nice little path to the river. There were lots of trees and flowering shrubs. Tons of birds and butterflies. We had an amazing time and already booked another weekend there! Thanks for having us Michelle and family!

Friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely property on the Red Deer River with nothing across the river but deer and eagles. Coyotes serenade you at night under the stars as there’s no light pollution. Great place to unwind close to Drumheller.
