Views, Company, and a Sauna!
A magical piece of land! You will have excellent views, great company, and a heart-forward host. I felt very well taken care of and greatly enjoyed exploring the whole area and meeting the other guests. The sauna is a fantastic bonus!

Book here for sure
Sandy was an excellent host, very caring and accommodating for each group's individual needs. The site is filled with unique buildings and barns, plus an artist's studio filled with great work. Definitely book a stay here, it's a wonderful spot.

Hive Design "Custom"
Camping in the Hive Design
We had a good time camping in the Hive Design on Sandy's land with Mountain view. Sandy has a beautiful spirit which comes through in her artwork, her land, and shared conversations. My 6'2" son and I stayed in the Hive. The Hive (a small cabin in the shape of a hive) we were in had electricity, heat, AC, windows, a Queen bed, a desk, stool, lights, and door. The dimmable RGB LEDs tucked all along the entire upper edge on the interior was a nice touch. On the first night, the temperature dropped to the 20's F. We were cozy and warm in our t-shirts with absolutely no drafts coming into the Hive. The large window view in bed allowed an awesome view of the star lighted sky. Under the bed had plenty of space for storage for our camping packs. My pet peeve is construction or chemical smells. The Hive was pristine, no smell at all. The Hive is a well built, sturdy, cozy, unique, and a beautiful design that made camping more comfortable and safe while keeping it rustic and close to nature. I want one in my back yard!!! My other favorite was Sandy's pottery/yoga barn with the wood stove. I also enjoyed the tour in her green house with vegetables growing despite the snow covered ground outside. Lastly, I sure appreciated the full bathroom with flushing toilet and shower in the main building.

Hive Design Cabin.
Mother Natures Healing Hive
Spent the weekend cozied up at Sandy’s Hip Camp farm in Vermont in anticipation of the total solar eclipse.
Wandering through the pottery barn, yoga studio and into the greenhouse - I buried my feet into the warm soil, soaking up the grounded energy that Mother Nature provides. The property has chakra gardens, community spaces, pottery art classes and more.
We ventured to the small town of Cabot, hiking local trails lined with tapped sugar maples 🍁 Harrys Hardware & The Den, est in 1896, was the perfect spot for pizza and craft beer with locals.
I love the ergonomic design of the Hive Design Cabin we stayed in at night. The wood burning sauna, in a separate Hive, provided warmth and relaxation.
Burlington was bustling with travelers and you could feel the excitement as Totality neared. Witnessing the eclipse from the shores of Lake Champlain was truly incredible.
Of course, traveling as a family of four is not easy and has its challenges, but adventures are always worth it.
We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend :-)

tent camping with Sandy was a wonderful adventure! We were surprised by late snow but Sandy's accomodations helped us deal with the cold mornings and were a great setting to watch the eclipse. we got to tour the greenhouse and help out with watering when it warmed up.
