Lovey's on the meandering River!, California

Fifteen years ago, my wife and I bought a tiger by the tail! We had no idea of what to expect. A lot of work! Great times! Crazy fun with country
locals!

The story goes back to a slide to get boats to the river in the 1930's. Since then a marina, RV park, Restaurant, Bar have been added. It's a great staging area for any valley or river expedition. This is an old school sort of place with a lot of farmers and ranchers, fisherman and outdoor enthusiast.

A meadow of pastoral trees provide shade on some campsites.  Pitch a tent or go more with comforts in a RV. An acre of mowed grass to camp or play on. We have a small Marina with full hook up RV spaces (please call for RV spaces 530-696-2449). Our camping area allows for enjoying lots of room between other campers.  Walk the Sacramento River either direction for miles. We are nestled in one of the greatest nut growing area in the world. This is the closest camping around the Sutter Buttes (Smallest mountain range in the world). We also happen to be in the Sutter Basin, or "great sink." Here, water birds of many types winter fowl pass through on the Pacific Flyway. Check out the many local wildlife refuges. Bring a boat, kayak, float tube or even swim. Many enjoy a float, passing scenery and watching otters, beaver, deer, ospreys, and beyond (If floating please inquire with all rules and safety measures from local professionals, guides, and government authorities).
