Our new A cabin is ready for rentals $85 per night 2 night minimum, queen size bed, sky light for star gazing and only steps away from our 20 gazabo with fire pit! Our property has a natural and rustic feel that is ideal for a relaxing and comfortable camping experience. You will find free-range animals on the property that are friendly to be around including llamas, dogs, cats, chickens, goats, sheep and more! This is a peaceful property that is the perfect setting for some rest and time away. There is a 5 acre pond that hosts an impressive amount of birds, as well as mature trees and space to walk and explore. Depending on the season, we usually have garden produce and fresh eggs for sale, and there may be some fruit that is waiting to be picked from our trees. Muenster is 8km away with a grocery store and bar/restaurant, and Humboldt is 15 minutes away with all amenities. Humboldt Lake is also nearby for swimming, kayaking, and sitting on the beach. Dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly with other dogs. Please keep them on a leash for the whole visit and pick up after them. NOTE: We have two working dogs on our property that guard our birds and other animals from predators. They are very friendly and pose no threat to humans, but you should know that they are active during the night and you may hear them barking.

Weekend Trip to Valley Springs Campground & Trails

What a nice place to visit! I had full hookups. Very reasonable price. This campground is in a beautiful valley. There is a natural spring running through. Wonderful, clear fresh water to drink. There are very nice hiking trails that offer shady walks along the spring fed stream. Scenic trails also with gorgeous views! There is a pond and a small lake that is like an oasis. It really is very peaceful and full of life. Some may not appreciate the train traffic. We aren't bothered. It's just part of the character. I'd say it's worth the trip.

Weekend Trip to K and K Acres

My girls and I had a very peaceful evening at K & K Acres. We spent the day reading, napping, walking and playing games. The best part was not hearing a single car, only the birds and frogs. I missed the quiet of an acreage so it’s nice to know we have a spot that feels safe where we can get away from the city and not deal with a busy campground either. The highlight was a beautiful sunset and a fire by their pond, listening to the Grebes vocalize. Thanks again K & K for letting us be a part of your acreage life for a day.

Weekend Trip to Skullcreek Classic Cabin

Carolyn and Don were so welcoming! The little cabin is cozy and has a nice little area to relax. Even when it was quite hot out we were very comfortable and there was a little fan that helped it feel nice and cool. 100% recommend 😊

Beautiful little cabin, comfortable bed. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The only thing I’d change is having some sort of a bathroom accessible without going into the main house, and maybe some cards in the cabin for entertainment. It was such a nice stay and we really enjoyed ourselves very much. I would recommend this stay
