Nestled in the heart of five charming towns—Port Dover, Simcoe, Waterford, Jarvis, and Townsend—our 100-acre farm offers the perfect balance of natural beauty and local charm. Each town has something special to explore, from cozy wineries and scenic marinas to walking trails and serene beaches. Plus, we’re just a stone’s throw from several golf courses, including The Greens at Renton.
Our property boasts wide-open farmland and 40 acres of lush forest, with the peaceful Black Creek winding through it. We offer two campsite locations, complete with a fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars and a portable toilet for your convenience (please note, we don’t provide clean drinking water).

Mapleridgeacres is an alpaca farm situated on approximately 80 acres of conservation forest. Filled with walking trails, local beehives/farming, and 14+ alpacas, our farm can provide guided tours with interaction with alpacas, angora rabbits, and a store stocked with farm-fresh honey and local alpaca products.

1 night at Grindstone Creek Farm in Burlington
So lovely! Amber, husband and all staff were incredible, welcoming and hospitable. We loved staying right with the animals and enjoyed exploring and interacting with the animals independently as well as being invited to feed the animals apples & even bottle feed the babies (I assume we got lucky and this isn't always an offer).
The living space is also wonderful.
Comfortable, clean and stocked with all that you need.
Would recommend this to anyone and stay again anytime!

We were provided a nice location to set up our tent, and the views are stunning. My toddler was mesmerized by the animal on the side, which we adored. We received great assistance and were given a pail of water. Taryn's was also kind enough to let us stay longer. If you want a quiet and private camp, it was a nice experience.

Weekend Trip to Grindstone Creek Farm in Burlington
Our stay at Grindstone Creek Farm was absolutely wonderful! The property is peaceful, beautifully kept, and offers a true countryside escape while still being close to Burlington. The accommodations were spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared for guests.
The hosts were incredibly welcoming, made everything easy from check-in to check-out.
If you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature, this farm is a gem. We’d happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We had a great experience at this farm. Taryn made us feel confortable. The place is great for a quiet night of stargazing around a fire pit. Plus how fun it is to wake up around alcapa, cows and chickens.
The only down side is that the toilet were a bit minimalist, we didn’t care, but if you are a little fancy about that it’s something to consider.

We enjoyed camping at Taryn's farm. The vistas were beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful. We fished at the pond and were successful catching several fish. The farm is close to Niagara Falls where we attended 2 concerts.

I had a great night tent camping on Amanda’s land. The spot is private and there is plenty of flat ground to pitch your tent. There’s a fire pit too. Amanda is a very accommodating and communicative host.

Nice place, host is very friendly and helpful. What a fantastic spot for a camping trip! We absolutely loved our time next to the river. the river view was so relaxing, and it was perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring. The kids had a blast skipping sea shells and spotting little fish. Evenings were magical, with campfires crackling under a sky full of stars and the gentle murmur of the river in the background. The setup was great, offering just the right balance of feeling immersed in nature while still having convenient access to everything we needed. We're already dreaming about our next visit to this riverside paradise. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and refreshing camping experience!

Such a beautiful campsite on a beautiful property. Kim was so nice and welcoming. Lots of room to move around, chairs and tables provides. There is a porta potty that was spotless, with everything nicely mowed and you can drive right up to where you camp. It was super convenient for all of our stuff. There is a road nearby but trees hide most of it so it felt very private, with fields and trees surrounding us.
