Wildwood Cottage sits on 6.5 acres overlooking Otonabee River. In the spring summer and fall we have 6 cottages and 2 bunkies. November to April we keep 3 cottages open with hot tubs and wood burning fireplaces. You can watch the birds off your porch, go for a swim at the beach, use a complementary canoe or even rent a boat or seadoo to explore farther! In the summer months we offer a swimming area equipped with kayaks and water inflatables. In the winter, there is a skating rink when the weather permits! Generally Jan & Feb. Dec and Mar the weather sometimes is not cold enough. One of the best things to do any season - sit at your own fire pit and enjoy the clear sky full of stars while listening to the sounds of natures. We are also pet friendly!

Walk the farm trails as the sunsets. Our livestock guardian dogs keep the farm safe and the alpacas will keep watch over you, humming contently, as you drift off to sleep. In addition to that alpaca, behavior can be disappointing for children.Alpacas are very curious animals and they want to know who you are. If you sit/stand still they will come close to you and maybe give you a kiss. But they are also extremely timid and shy and do not like to be petted. But if you earn their trust they will let you touch them.

Sean and Michele have created a little slice of peace in a gorgeous nook of nature that you wouldn't want to miss out on. My partner and I really appreciated the effort they've put towards making the cabin comfortable, stress-free, and fun with everything that'd be on your packing list and more. If you are looking for a special getaway to rejuvenate and take in a stellar view, you've found it here. A million thanks again for an unforgettable couple of days.
