ARKA did not disappoint. It's a beautiful location with the sound of the creek and the views of nature. The house itself is cozy and has everything you need. Host Hernan is very friendly and welcoming. I would love to come back one day.

"Nourished in Nature" is an accurate way to describe Kathleen's Tiny Tula cabin - it's such a cute and cozy cabin with running water, electricity, fridge, cooking tools, cozy firepit and more to make your getaway from the city so much more comfortable.
Kathleen is a warm and friendly host and I enjoyed hearing all about the sweet rescues on the sanctuary! They were all so friendly and it was so relaxing to go out and visit/interact with them everyday during our stay.
Would 100% recommend!

Weekend Trip to Nourished In Nature Tula Tiny Cabin
We stayed two nights at the cabin and had an incredible time: on a sunny day the sanctuary looks straight out of a Disney movie, with ducks, pot belly pig, cats, chickens, and shaggy Cindy (resident dog) roaming around. There’s also Angelina the turkey and Hank the goat who we got to meet and love. The cabin is tastefully decorated and very homey. It is like a tiny home, so perfect for a couple or two adults + a kid. Bed is very comfy and we slept well. The stairs up to the bed/loft is more like a steep ladder — if you have mobility issues it may be difficult. The little outdoor sink is perfect for washing up. The outhouse is right beside the cabin so do not need to walk far. The firepit, grounds and stargazing was the best part — we had a fire going both nights. There is a small charcoal grill for use, and electric stovetop inside the cabin. Water is potable via a foot pump. Kathleen was friendly, helpful, quick on communication and also gave us our space — the perfect host. If you love animals this is an ABSOLUTE GEM. We loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat 💓 thank you for having us!

1 night at Nourished In Nature Tula Tiny Cabin
If you are planning for a nature retreat, you have to stay at Kathleen’s beautiful cabin. We absolutely loved her place. Our 2.5 years old daughter loved the place and all the friendly pets there. We stayed there for one night only, and it rained all day the first day, but the next morning we had an amazing time with the friendly turkey Angelina, the cats and the pigs. The cabin was beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed the rain from inside. The outpost was clean as well. We did not face any problems with water or anything.
Kathleen is an amazing host, we literally did not have to ask for anything, everything was so organized and the instructions were simple to follow. The thing we loved the most was her check-in and check-out time, unlike most other places, the timing here was very good!
We highly recommend Kathleen’s cabin if you are two people or a couple with a small kid.

We loved our stay! The workmanship in this tiny home is top quality — every detail feels so well thought out. It’s cute, cosy, and perfectly climate-controlled, making it easy to relax together. The gentle sound of the nearby waterfall was so soothing, and thanks to the excellent construction, we could easily quiet it when we wanted complete silence. The space had all the amenities we needed, from a coffee maker to a hot plate, so we could enjoy quiet mornings in. The perfect setting for catching up on some reading and knitting.
A big thank you to our wonderful host, Hernan, and his charming dog Luna for making us feel so welcome. We’ll be coming back for another getaway!

If you’re an animal lover this place is for you. You can mingle with the animals or just enjoy them in their natural surroundings!
We made friends with many of the animals and they will be often thought of.
The Tiny Cabin was more spacious than imagined. So much thoughtfulness to all the small details to make your visit memorable didn’t go unnoticed. It is very chic and inviting. Loved my stay! Very memorable. ❤️

We had the most wonderful time here! From the peaceful vibes to the sweet animals roaming around, this place felt like a cozy little pocket of magic.
Michael the cat? Totally stole my heart — we are officially their fan. 🐱💘 Watching how much love and care the host gives to every animal was seriously heart-melting. They’re more like family than pets!
The whole atmosphere was calm, cozy, and full of life. We left with a happy heart and a camera roll full of adorable memories.

Absolutely Magical Getaway – A Perfect Blend of Nature and Comfort
I can’t recommend this tiny house retreat in Halton Hills enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful seclusion and natural beauty that surrounds this handcrafted gem. Nestled in a forested 16 acre property and perched beside a serene stream (which actually flows right beneath the firepit deck!), the entire space feels like a hidden sanctuary. At night, the crackling fire, the soft string lights, light breeze and the gentle sound of water created a truly magical atmosphere.
The house itself is impeccably designed – cozy, modern, and stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Large windows frame the forest outside, and thoughtful touches like a well-equipped kitchen, clever storage, and a desk with a view made it easy to relax and unwind.
The manmade dock on the stream gave us the opportunity to bask in the sun and wade in the water when necessary. Definitely made for relaxing.
A huge shoutout to our host, Hernan, who was fantastic from start to finish. He greeted us warmly and gave us a clear, helpful overview of the property. His suggestions for nearby hiking trails and conservation areas were spot-on – we especially loved exploring a trail that ran throughout the property.
If you’re looking to disconnect and immerse yourself in nature without sacrificing comfort, this is the place for you.
Can’t wait to come back!
