There is also a fire-pit, with firewood supplied at your site for your evening campfire and stargazing.

We didn't end up going to the location after booking it for a night because of snow but Nancy was flexible enough to provide us refund. She from her own told us its ok if you don't come over even on the day of the booking. This shows that she has some values. We will try and go over to her location anytime soon. Nancy is a great host.

Melanie & Ryan were fantastic hosts! They were kind, helpful, and incredibly responsive. The place is beautiful, and the lights make it magical and easy to navigate around at night. The yurt was gorgeous. My friend and I visited at the end of October, so it got very cold at night. However, the mattress heating pad worked wonders, and Melanie was incredibly kind to offer us additional bedding. Thank you for a great glamping experience!

Weekend Trip to Heartwood Farm & Cidery
We had a wonderful stay at the Heartwood Cidery. We chose the Spruce Sanctuary which was more secluded and had a private outdoor kitchen with everything you would need. Val was a welcoming host and provided a complimentary flight of ciders upon arrival, (and enjoyed some live entertainment too)
Serene property, relaxing, a nice easy get away.
Enjoyed meeting the farm animals too! Would recommend staying here :)

The owners are wonderful people. They will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable.
45 min from mississauga, walking distance from the Bruce Trail, and 30 min from Kelso / Hilton Falls.

Camped in our small trailer with two dogs, great location feels far away from city- hosts are so welcoming and have well thought out space for campers. Great access to Bruce trail, starry nights, and all the sounds of the forest. Hosts went above and beyond helping us figure some things out with the camper. Enjoyed morning coffee, campfire and visiting with Kemp and Nancy.

Nancy's place is absolutely beautiful with their charming heritage stone house and a lovely garden. The campsite sits in a spacious yard with a small trail that winds around a pond. Our dogs had a fun time exploring there, and we enjoyed a relaxing time by the campfire. The Silver Creek trail is just a short walk from the site. We will come back to their place to see the autumn season! Highly recommended!

I was looking for an easy, low stakes single night of camping along with two solid days of hiking with my 10 year old daughter. This place was perfect, nice camp site (only 1 I'm pretty sure!) and you can drive on the lawn to the site, so you can pack "heavy". Best of all there is a trail right next to the camp site that takes you direct to the Bruce trail via Roberts Side Trail, in like 10 mins you're on the Bruce. Outstanding hikes, lots of loops, our fav was hiking up Silver Creek. Nancy and her partner (name slips me despite him being super nice/friendly) were both great, accomodating, and helpful yet gave us plenty of space. Def recommend!
