We’re surrounded by Beaverton on Lake Simcoe, Port Perry on Lake Scugog and Uxbridge (the Trail Capital of Canada), which are a close driving distance away. Around the corner from us, the Beaver River Wetland Trail (part of the Trans Canada Trail) is the perfect place for a hike or bike ride.

Beautiful cabin. Cozy, warm, fun games and amazing scenery. Waking to the lake view down the path is a must! My now fiancé proposed during our stay and it was such a beautiful place to do so. Highly recommend! Ann and her husband were great hosts.

Such a lovely place to relax and get cozy! The A-Frame is super comfortable and cute, outhouse was clean, shower with heated water was amazing, and hot tub/sauna was definitely a plus! We had a great time and would recommend this place to anyone looking for an opportunity to connect with nature. Wish we had more time there! Ann and Brian are also lovely hosts.

Wow! We came in mid October to see the autumn colors. What a great experience! First off the hosts are amazing and very helpful.
The lodge itself is very comfy, the bed is super clean and comfy as well. There's enough firewood for the whole stay (2 Nights). Oh and our dog loved it as well!
The place is around 20 min drive away from any nature hike, and there are plenty in the area.

When I arrived, I like the fact that the host was very informative. She gave us a tour of the location and a relaxing atmosphere. We really enjoyed the cabin. It was really very pretty. We had such a wonderful stay at Viva Vila’s A-frame cabin! The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, which made our experience even better. This was our very first camping trip with our dog, and it couldn’t have gone more smoothly—we all absolutely loved it.
