The Lobster Boat Inn is located on a hill in the woods in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. It sits high and dry with no water in sight! You get the entire property to yourself. No barking dogs, loud music or annoying neighbours. No crowded RV or tent city here. Contact your host to adjust min. nights required. (standard 2 - 1 possible for a specific requested date.) Contact host David in advance. We provide visitors with a rustic, unique, "glamping" experience. The Boat is filled with lobster-themed items that will send you on an imaginary lobster pot-pulling adventure. Cook on the back deck as you drink in nature, then eat in an original ship's wheelhouse or outside at the picnic table by the fire pit. Our amenities also include: fishing rods, comfy beds, fresh drinking-water, refrigerator, 2 bathroom facilities, a hot outdoor shower, walking trails, microwave, and AC. The boat can sleep 5 guests, but a private raised glamping tent is provided for overflow if required. Off property you will find: auto race watching (at Riverside raceway), hiking, biking, ocean fishing, and shopping activities. Downtown Antigonish is but a ten minute drive. The famous Highland Games comes in July along with the Lobster Festival in New Glasgow. The Eastern Nova Scotia Exhibition runs from Aug 27-31. Want to swim at St. FX University swimming pool? The Lobster Boat has been one of our highlight of our trip around Nova Scotia! David took great care welcoming us in his unique place he built and we had a great time exploring the space. It is a peaceful place, yet pretty close to Antigonish city with all the amenities. Bonus point for being pet friendly!

2 nights at The Lobster Boat Inn

This is my new favorite hipcamp to stay, 9.9 out of 10 because i couldn't find a toothpick, jokes. I had to leave early the next evening family emergency but by far the most peaceful sleep we both ever had, and remember to put some sandpaper foot slip grip on shower floor or jack it up level David brother, be well captain, could put a stocked trout pond beside her to be cooler, trucker joke, be well my friend, this ment the world to us and my friend more than you think. we will be visiting again forsure 10-4 houndog over and out

Weekend Trip to The Lobster Boat Inn

I bought this as a Christmas present for my brother and his wife and they said it was awesome and very unique. A lot of thought and details went into the design of the boat. They also said David was very friendly, personable and easy to talk to. David thought they were newlyweds (guessing he has guests coming who are) and even had a gift for them. Amazing and thoughtful.
