Cabins near Tofino guide

Overview

Take the Pacific Rim Highway to its terminus on Vancouver Island’s west coast and you’ll reach the otherworldly town of Tofino, British Columbia. Dubbed Canada’s “Surf City,” Tofino has beachfront experiences for everyone, from catching waves at Chesterman Beach and Cox Bay Beach to stunning sunsets on Tonquin Beach and Mackenzie Beach. But travellers seeking an oceanfront getaway without necessarily getting wet (except, perhaps, in a hot tub or sauna) will find plenty of cabin rentals within a stone’s throw of Tofino’s amazing amenities, from the Naa’Waya’Sum Gardens (formerly the Tofino Botanical Gardens) to its culinary scene. Hiking and biking options abound, but to truly appreciate the area’s beauty, hop on the 25-km multi-use trail, ʔapsčiik t̓ašii, carving through Pacific Rim National Park between Tofino and Ucluelet. The area’s temperate climate makes Tofino a pet-friendly year-round destination for anyone who loves cozy cabins and ocean views.
