We stayed at this off-grid cabin and it had everything we needed for a comfortable, low-key weekend. The place was peaceful, well set up, and perfect for a winter getaway. Beautiful spot and a great place to unwind

Weekend Trip to Finnish Off-Grid Foothills Cabin

If you expect for quiet off grid cabin, this is a place to stay. We stayed 2 nights in March aimed to go to Waterton National Park but wanting to stay in quiet forest feeling. Only 45 min to the national park. At this time, expect the snow still pouring to the ground, but this camp has a decent heat and inside camping stove as well as generator for the lights. Also a dog friendly cabin and our dog can go around the cabin off leashed (with our watch) since no other cabin around.
