Weekend Trip to Marigold Farm Cabin

I loved this place! Everything is cleaned and well maintained. Especially, I was worried about compose toilet but it was neat! And there was welcome fire on firepit which I really appreciate it. The mattress and bedding is cozy and you will be fall asleep! I recommend this place to stay and I would definitely come again!

If you expect for quiet off grid cabin, this is a place to stay. We stayed 2 nights in March aimed to go to Waterton National Park but wanting to stay in quiet forest feeling. Only 45 min to the national park. At this time, expect the snow still pouring to the ground, but this camp has a decent heat and inside camping stove as well as generator for the lights. Also a dog friendly cabin and our dog can go around the cabin off leashed (with our watch) since no other cabin around.

There is wildlife of all kinds and beautiful views right into British-Columbia and Montana. There is also a firepit :) This is off-grid but there IS cell phone service :) DISCLAIMER: please be advised that the cabin situated adjacent to Park and Crown land and wildlife of all sizes frequents the area. We advise that you be bear-aware, proceed with knowledge and carry spray while walking on the property.

Some come for the peace and tranquility of the beautiful surroundings. Some come to learn about the Blackfoot Peoples culture a bit more. We love that! We are conveniently located just 5 minutes away from the Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump and 10 minutes away from the historic Town of Fort Macleod, the backdrop to many Hollywood films. Powwows can be enjoyed in July on the Piikani Nation and on the Blood Tribe/ Kainai Nation. All are welcomed to attend. This wonderful weekend of culture, food and rodeo is amazing.
