Had a wonderful overnight camping experience at Martin’s land. The property is peaceful, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect place to relax and disconnect from the noise of everyday life. Martin was welcoming and accommodating, and the entire experience felt safe and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet camping getaway and look forward to returning in the future.

Fantastic spot for out in the woods. If you do not like to be completely secluded this is not your spot. The waterfall and the birds in the mourning are music to my soul.
I camped out of my car. the ground is uneven, I couldn't imagine sleeping on the ground in a tent.

Incredible spot, I forgot the magic of camping under full trees. While it’s been a dry summer with no rain, the waterfall wasn’t active but a gorgeous place. This also meant no mosquitos and hardly any other bugs. Peaceful.

The site really is out in the woods and secluded, we loved it! Hiking the grounds you will want full length pants and hiking boots, it is very rugged but the waterfall and creek area are close to the site and great to see! We went to nearby Depauw nature park and Fern Cliff nature preserve, both within 15ish minutes away and beautiful places. Martin and Jennifer were very helpful and friendly with directions. I would recommend this site, especially as a good option for hiking the dozens of nearby parks without staying in a crowded campground.

Always a wonderful time here. Great location. The only thing that's not so good is the dogs barking all night. Other than that it's peaceful and relaxing.

Ive been eyeing this spot for awhile and was so happy to finally visit. Such a beautiful and private spot. You can hear the waterfall trickle from your tent. I took a beautiful walk down into it and it was just stunning! We were there in bad weather, a lot of rain, and the. Drive was very muddy but we managed. Wouldn’t have been a bad walk if I would have had to park by the road. Also with the bad weather, Martin was always quick to reply. He gave great recommendations for weather stations to watch. It was a great middle point for many parks around! While the drives to Turkey run, shades, McCormicks and cataract falls weren’t bad. I very HIGHLY reccomend checking out Depauw quarry and Fern Cliff in the area. my kids and I enjoyed our stay so much and cannot wait to get back.

Really neat site and very private. Martin and his son were very friendly and helpful. The site is in the middle of the woods on their property and right next to a very cool rock formation that turns into a waterfall when there is enough rain fall. You should have no trouble at all driving your vehicle to the site (though you may brush up against some vegetation if you have a larger vehicle). The road to the site itself is not at all obvious but I ended up at their work shop and Marin and his son helped me out and drove me to the site. A bit out of the way if you are just driving across country and looking for a place to sleep, but worth it if you want a unique and very private site in the woods!

I love tent camping here! So quiet and beautiful, this time we saw deer walk through the campsite and there was even an owl that visited! Can’t wait until my next trip!

Arrived quite late but host was welcoming and his son showed me to the campsite. Campsiet was dry inspite of rains a few days earlier. Was a good night stay and got plenty of rest. Not so sure about the waterfall, I am guessing in its day the waterfall was quite a sight to see but is currently dry. The rock formations are fantastic and worth a visit.

Martin and Jennifer's spot was beautiful and calm. They were very communicative and kind hosts - talking on the phone to help us locate the exact spot and delivering a load of firewood to us. We drove in a large camper van about 100ft into the space and found a relatively flat area to park it. The dirt road carved out was small for such a large vehicle - we made it work but my partner is a skilled driver. I would say it wasn't ideal for a large vehicle- which Martin and Jennifer DID affirm ahead of us deciding to try it anyway!
We walked the remainder down to the tent site area which was secluded and peaceful. We let our dogs roam off leash but a caveat that there were other farm dogs from other homes not terribly far off. If you have dogs like we do that could catch the scent of an animal and run a good distance, they may run into another landowners property. Just a note - it didn't affect us much but we remained cautious with our dogs off leash too much.
Overall it was a wonderful peaceful stay and we'd recommend it!

Very secluded, quite peaceful area that couples can go to spend some alone time. Magnificent, beautiful places. Allows couples to experience our nature at its finest. Camp site was clean, easy to find and I believe if not so dry the water fall would be extremely beautiful. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family

A wonderful place to stay. Was a little tricky finding since it’s tucked so well into the woods, but that’s what makes it feel nice and secluded. A nice little creek just below the tent site and a beautiful little bluff with a lightly flowing waterfall coming down from it. I can only imagine how beautiful it would be after a heavy rain. It was so peaceful, just what we were looking for. A close distance to Turkey Run too. We very much enjoyed it, the crackling sound of the fire mixed with the tricking of the waterfall at night was perfect.

I was looking for somewhere that felt like you just hiked a mile out in the woods, but without actually having to hike the mile. With two small kids and two dogs, we wanted a space that was secluded and not too far of a distance from our parking space. This was the perfect spot for just that. Really nice space, hopefully we can come back sometime soon!

I loved the camping spot itself. It was very secluded and it was rare to see or hear anyone during the day/night. The back drop of the caves and the waterfall site was really cool to see. The waterfall wasn't flowing this time unfortunately, but we will be back to see it. We did have a little skunk visitor so that was exciting !!!
Couple side notes ...
1) there are dogs that bark throughout the night and a good portion of the day from a neighboring house. I just popped in ear plugs when I was sleeping to drown them out.
2) Google maps doesn't lead you to the camp. We had to download Waze to get us to the right place.
3) the parking spots are tight and the entrance is very rugged. It has a pretty good divet to get over, so if you have a low lying vehicle it's probably not going to work out well.
Like I said though. This spot is a great camping site all in all. It had what I was looking for, and it was definitely better than camping at the state park. I would recommend :) just preplan :)

We absolutely loved it here and so did the dogs! Sadly we got a ton of rain but it didn’t stop us from enjoying the sights. Host was very responsive and nice!

This was an amazing spot! it really was very isolated just like everyone was saying! the waterfall was beautiful and the night sounds were awesome! would most definitely suggest this to anyone looking for a good spot!

Absolutely perfect camping spot. Private and beautiful area to explore. The owls were so peaceful to listen to all night. It was definitely one of our favorite camping spots we have ever been, because it’s hard to find good spots with only one site.

The spot was perfect after an extremely long day of driving. Martin went out of his way to help me locate the spot when google maps failed. The dog was relaxed and I was too. Wonderful night of rest!! Little, if any, water on the falls but that’s “nature”.
