Forest waterfall.

Set up camp next to our 30 foot wet-weather waterfall and enjoy the sounds of the forest. The waterfall runs for many days after rain, but can go dry during long periods without rain. There is a spring at the bottom. Wildlife in the area is abundant, to include, turkey, deer, squirrels, raccoons, and a large variety of birds. You may hike 15 acres of hilly forest, or check out the trails at DePauw nature park about 8 minutes away. Mushroom hunting on the property is allowed in-season. Wild berries on the vine are also available in-season. We strongly recommend 4x4 or AWD for the trail to the campsite, especially after heavy rain. There is a spot for one vehicle at the entryway to the trail in the event of muddy trail conditions. We do not recommend a trailer unless it is small enough that you can move it manually. Another option may be to park the trailer at the mouth of the trail and hike about 50 easy yards down the trail to the campsite.
