Sol Retreat is an oasis of calm, just outside Broome. Only 15 minutes from town, perched atop a gently sloping hill on 10 acres of private land, the accommodation has been designed to embrace the most incredible Indian Ocean views from every angle. We have three beautiful glamping tents that can accomodate up to 2 people, and a unique villa that can sleep up to 4 people. The accommodation is clean and beautifully decorated, with comfortable queen beds, and spectacular views from the private decks. All guests have access to the pool, plus there are private baths at each glamping tent. Cold water only - which is perfect for cooling off in our warm weather! You'll love cooking over the fire, watching the sun sink into the ocean of an evening. And in the morning, waking up to the diversity of bird life fluttering around the surrounding vegetation. Plus it's a great whale-watching spot! The property also has private beach access, where you can walk or drive to the beach. In minutes, you could be sitting on your very own private section of Cable Beach.

Our glamping tents are beautifully decorated, with very comfortable queen beds. . They have a 20m floor space, so plenty of room for up to two occupants. Each tent has excellent views of the Indian Ocean, and private wooden decks from which to enjoy the view. They also have a private bath (cold water only), perfect for cooling off in the warm Broome weather. Most guests prefer to watch the sunsets from here rather than on Cable Beach - nothing like a roaring fire, a glass of wine in hand, soaking in the tub & watching the sunset in private surroundings! Guests have access to shared toilets and hot shower, along with access to the pool by the main villa. Please note, this is a luxury camping experience. The tents do not have cooking facilities or electricity. You can light a campfire and cook on that if you wish, or bring your own cooking equipment.

Staying at Sol was an incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating experience. The private outdoor deck offered the perfect spot to soak in nature—from stunning sunsets and the sound of birds in the morning to sweeping ocean views. The communal facilities, including the shower, toilet, pool, and outdoor kitchen, created a welcoming space to connect with like-minded travellers. We had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful couple and spent the evening sharing a cheese platter by the fire, exchanging stories of our adventures.

We booked in at Tony’s place for one night whilst passing through Broome. The tent was clean, spacious and had a big bed. Communal facilities were great and the view out over Cable beach was beautiful. The only slight downside was the number of mosquitoes but this was an issue in the entire Broome area and Tony provided mosquito coils for us.
