Good location. Plenty of space to manoeuvre big rigs. Horses, sheep and friendly dogs to amuse animal lovers.

We had a fantastic stay here. The location felt very safe and was conveniently just out of town, giving us the perfect balance of peace and accessibility.
The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The two beautiful, well-behaved dogs added a lovely homely feel to the property and were a real highlight of our stay.
The horses and sheep were the perfect touch, creating a wonderful animal-filled environment that added so much character and charm. It felt like a little countryside playground and made the experience even more memorable.
We would happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and friendly place to camp.

You could not meet a nicer couple than Glenys and Darryl. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome. They were kind, genuinely friendly, generous and we loved spending time talking about the animals and all sorts of things about life.
We felt very secure and safe on their property and would not hesitate to recommend this stay to anyone visiting Carnarvon.

We had a lovely time. Owners are very friendly and being close to town the setup was very good. Simple but a very safe spot to be. We'd happily go back

Great hipcamp close to town without the noise and fuss in town.
Good spot to be situated for your Carnarvan requirements.
Big campsites available, roads fairly quiet after dark. Creek/River close by allows a relaxed afternoon dip or walk in the shallows.
Lovely horses, sheep and dogs on the property.

The site is not very appealing from the road. Surrounded by a high fences, topped with a double wired electric fence, we weren't sure about our choice. But once we met the host who opened the front gate for us and who was warm and welcoming, any uncertainties we had proved to be unfounded.

Our time here was great. Gleyns and her Husband were great. They showed us around their property with the farm animals and were very welcoming. They also had two lovely pups which was a great addition!

This was a great stop over!
Secured property and gorgeous hosts - we had a blast learning about the history of the pub and all the Reno's.
If we are back in the area, this is where we will stop.

Glenys & Darryl are superb hosts! Plenty of room to have space to yourself (even with our 15m, just message prior to booking if you’re bigger than 10m). They are super accomodating of young kids and have lovely friendly dogs. What they have done already and have planned for their property is jaw dropping and such an inspiration. A little slice of bush paradise in Carnavon.

Our hosts Glenys and Daryl were very welcoming. A safe and secure Hipcamp close to Carnarvon. This camp has lots of potential and is in the early stages of development. For the price we highly recommend.
Our daughters loved their horses and dogs, and they weren’t in hurry to leave!

From when I first arrived here Glenys and Darryl made us feel like family!
We parked up near the shed and connected to power and was able to look out to the horses every morning / night (the kids loved it!)
Their dogs were friendly and the kids loved playing with them and exploring - just out the back from the property is access to the river and more exploring from the kids. They are full of knowledge of the area as well as weather (tides and wind) and recommend the best day to go check out the blow holes and aquarium.
Highly recommend staying here wether it’s a stop over or for a few nights!!

Lovely stay at the old tavern. Glenys and Darryl made us feel very welcome and had a wealth of knowledge to share about the local spots to visit. They also have friendly dogs that got on great with our dog 😊
