Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
A stunning rural property in the South West with lots of wonderful community things happening! Only 5-7 minutes drive to Busselton / Vasse and beaches. A great little spot to perch up and explore the region from. Visit our new restaurant from July onwards: "South West Bottega" (Thurs - Sun, 9am - 9pm). Check out our AirBnB: "The Hideaway", Vasse, Friendly Farm Stay. ALL SITES CURRENTLY CLOSED for winter, as the wetland is too wet to drive across.

MUST BE SELF-CONTAINED OR HAVE A CHEMICAL TOILET - NO AMENITIES AT THIS SITE AND NO TRACES ARE TO BE LEFT BEHIND. You are welcome to pull up in our back paddock right at the back of the property. Please note - the terrain is bumpy and this best suited to AWD / 4WD access (not a completely flat paddock). Note it is also under a large power line. However, it is highly secluded (except for other visitors who may be there, and about 100+ kangaroo friends). It's also next to a beautiful plantation (explore at own risk of falling trees, snakes, etc) - and will make you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere and enjoying the proper rural Australian life! A great simple, budget-friendly place to pull up and park for the night or two instead of an over-crowded, over-booked caravan park, to use as a base to explore the Vasse / Abbey / Busselton / Dunsborough region. Please note - there are NO amenities provided at this site. There is NO toilet. Guests will need to be fully self-contained, without your own toilet, take all waste with them and leave no trace. Absolutely no toilet paper in the bushes. If you are bringing pets, please ensure they are wildlife and farm animal friendly - we suggest keeping them on leash to avoid issues (which you will be responsible for if they occur). Please note we are in a TOTAL FIRE BAN for the region - zero tolerance on fires / smoking, etc. Hopefully this is enough information - but feel free to ask us anything else that may help you prepare for your visit, and we'll do our best to make it wonderful for you!

You are welcome to pull up in a row in our Olive Grove - choosing a row and enjoying a whole row to yourself, enjoying a feeling of privacy and seclusion in a nice safe, central spot. At each end of the row is a beautiful wetland (almost dried up as we are well into summer!) and a plantation at the other end (access at your own risk of falling trees). The site can feel secluded and tranquil, far away from the world, and set amongst an award winning organic, wild-crafted Olive Grove. There are NO amenities provided at this site. Guests will need to be fully self-contained, take all waste with them and leave no trace. Absolutely no toilet paper in the bushes. If you are bringing pets, please ensure they are wildlife and farm animal friendly - we suggest keeping them on leash to avoid issues (which you will be responsible for if they occur). There is a paddock at the rear of the property - if no one is parked there, you are welcome to use this as an off-leash area. There are also dog / horse-beaches and plenty of dog / horse-exercise areas nearby. The rows are mostly pretty flat. You may have to explore to find a flat spot or level your van. A great simple, budget-friendly place to pull up and park for the night or two, as you use it as a base to explore the Vasse / Abbey / Busselton / Dunsborough region. Please note the South West is in a TOTAL FIRE BAN - zero tolerance on fires, smoking, etc. Hopefully this is enough information - but feel free to ask us anything else that may help you prepare for visiting us, and we'll do our best to make it wonderful for you!

Loved how peaceful this place was and we were lucky enough to only have one other person staying so extra quiet and plenty of space. Appreciated being able to arrive and just find a space by ourselves and being totally undisturbed. Plenty of shady and sunny spots to park up in. Location - couldn’t ask for better, easy trip into Busselton and Dunsborough. We would not hesitate to return.

Loved our time here! We were a bit over caravan parks, needed somewhere the kids could be loud and we could have a bit of space to ourselves. This was great for us to explore everything around. 10mins from town, super convenient!

The olive grove was exactly as described—peaceful, private, and perfectly located near the new Vasse Farmers Market. We loved having our own tranquil space for the night, and it was so relaxing that we couldn’t resist adding an extra night! A fantastic spot for a serene getaway. Highly recommend! Raf was a fantastic host and we hope to visit his beautiful property again sometime soon.

Great location close to town but still rural, nice size camp areas spread out with good privacy, plenty of space for kids to play in the forestry, kids enjoyed seeing the goats and having them come visit our camp for breakfast. Raf was a great host, polite and welcoming, easy to deal with. Will be visiting again

Was a last minute booking and worked out great and easy to find. Kids loved it. Kangaroos , goats, horses. Had a nice morning walk through the olive grove and Forrest. Close to the new Farmers Market 🥰

Caravan parks charge less than that with power and water. $60 a night? Sadly everything was booked out so not much choice. Rules said no camp fires but everyone was having fires so either rules were not enforced or no one adhered to rules other than us. Loved waking up to loads of kangaroos though.

Exceptionally quiet spot. Not too far from Geographe bay and vineyards. Be sensible with your dogs off leash as the goats often jump the fence and are very curious. Your paying for peace and quiet not amenities. We enjoyed it very much and have picked our preferred spot for next time (it’s a secret).

Raf went above and beyond. While our stay was short, it was still memorable. It was affordable and accommodated us last minute and to arrive late. We had a beautiful sunrise in the morning and he regularly messaged making us feel welcomed. Thank you Raf :)

It was a real pretty vista through the plantation to the Olive Grove, being a long weekend and school holidays it was busy but you had your own privacy and space. Close to busselton and amenities if needed. Would defibately stay again. Raf was a great host with great communication. We got to go to the soft opening of the new cafe/restaurant opening in July , cute and quirky so would def Like to go once it’s open the young family who we’re there were friendly and excited🙂 Thanks RAF

Beautiful spot to camp! Loved seeing all the kangaroos. Not too far from Busselton, and was a great place to stay over the Easter period avoiding the packed out caravan parks! We like space and privacy, and this place provides those things!!! Only one thing I would ask is if there are generator run times? There was a 'fellow' camper who started their generator at the crack of dawn each morning for about an hour which wasn't ideal. Thanks for the stay, we will absolutely book here again!

It was so lovely camping between the lovoe Grove. Shaded and cosy, enjoyed sitting and watching nature fly and hop by 😊 RAF was a great host and got to meet his family on our departure day! Highly recommend any of the stays at Rafs
