🌿 Casuarina Bush Farm | Bush Camping 30 Minutes from Perth Finish work on Friday, pack the car, and just 30 minutes later you'll be relaxing around a crackling campfire beneath a sky where the stars outshine the streetlights. Wake to the calls of red-tailed black cockatoos, enjoy a slow morning in the bush, and head home on Sunday afternoon feeling like you've been away for days. We're a family hobby farm in the making, creating a place where people can slow down, reconnect with nature and enjoy a taste of country life without travelling far. Set around a historic trotting track with bush and paddocks, we offer spacious camping just 30 minutes south of Perth. Bring your caravan, camper trailer, rooftop tent, swag or tent. Bring your own setup, or choose our Ready-to-Camp option, with your camper trailer set up before you arrive, complete with a chemical toilet. Just bring your own food and essentials. As we continue bringing our hobby farm to life, you'll meet our resident animals, explore the bush and paddocks and, in the right season, enjoy the calls of red-tailed black cockatoos. You might even find one of their feathers during your stay. As this is our home, you'll likely see us caring for the animals or working around the property. We enjoy welcoming guests while giving you the space to relax and enjoy your stay. Our working beehives are part of the farm, so guests with a known bee allergy or history of anaphylaxis to bee stings should consider this before booking. Being close to Perth means Casuarina Bush Farm offers something a little different. You may occasionally hear passing aircraft, distant traffic and other surrounding sounds. If you're looking for complete off-grid silence, we may not be the right fit. But if you're after a quick easy escape with campfires, birdlife and starry skies, we'd love to welcome you. Please treat the property, the animals and the bush with the same care and respect you would your own special place. Sometimes the best adventures aren't the ones furthest from home. They're the ones that remind you how good it feels to slow down. We can't wait to share Casuarina Bush Farm with you.

The Big Paddock

The Big Paddock is our spacious shared camping area, with plenty of room for tents, rooftops, camper trailers, caravans and RVs. Bordered by native bush, it's a great spot for families, groups and travellers looking to enjoy a relaxed camping experience with wide open skies. Gather around the communal fire pit, or enjoy your own campfire at your campsite when conditions allow. The Big Paddock is one of the best places on the property for stargazing, kicking a footy, relaxing around the fire, or simply enjoying the outdoors. As this is a shared camping area, you may have other campers nearby while still enjoying plenty of space to spread out. Take a stroll through the surrounding bush, meet some of our friendly resident sheep and ponies, and enjoy watching our hobby farm continue to grow. In the right season, we're visited by magnificent red-tailed black cockatoos. They often arrive at sunset and depart again at sunrise, filling the trees with their unmistakable calls. It's one of our favourite daily rituals here at Casuarina Bush Farm, and many guests enjoy watching them come and go. This site is suitable for self-sufficient campers. If you'd rather skip the setup, ask about our Ready-to-Camp experience, where we'll have our camper trailer fully set up before you arrive. Simply bring your own bedding, food and personal essentials, and settle straight into your getaway.
