First camping trip with the kids. Heath has a beautiful property located only a short distance from the northern suburbs and was a great host. Heath checked in to say hi and dropped off a generous supply of firewood. Great spot with multiple camp sites.

We were fortunate to meet Heath and his sons on arrival at his property. Heath and co led us back down and answered all our questions.
We swagged it down at the valley bottom and it was quite nice, not too windy or cold for our trip at all.
Heath worked through the days and still had energy to offer us timber both days. We had already gathered plenty which lay around his property, which he was very happy with.
The cows were very curious the first night and come down to the camp. Heath explained this was the result of hand rearing them so they were very comfortable with people. The kids absolutely loved it!
This is a working farm. Naturally, there are farm dogs and cow patties around. If this is an issue for you, probably don’t camp at a farm. Having said that, this only added to the ambiance.
Take your gum boots in winter as the soil might become slippery.
It is such a picturesque location and property. It’s hard to believe we’re so close to Adelaide. There are plenty of small towns sporting amazing pubs and wineries nearby if you want a break from camp cooking.

I don’t know where to start, from the very get Go with my 5 year old daughter it was excitement finding the key and gathering firewood and exploring the property, Met Heaths young sons first on bikes little champions they are!
Also met Heath and spoke about the place and gave us a run down and made us feel very welcome, weather was overcast and cold but we enjoy that sort of thing was absoloutely fantastic and our very first Hipcamp!
We will no doubt be coming back again, thanks for the hospitality, couldn’t fault the place we loved it 😊 👍

Great easy to get to spot. Pretty free-range and Heath was happy for us to have a poke around the property. Lovely spot, we'll likely pop back with the kids again soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed camping in our Van at Banyula Park. 3 nights was great.
The caravan / rv site was perfect, lots of open and level space. We enjoyed an awesome camp fire, plenty of wood around to gather from the property. Met one of Heath’s son’s, nice young lad.
The views over the valleys and rolling hills were great. Watched the cows come in for a feed and the kangaroos at dusk and dawn. So relaxing and will definitely come back.
Directions to camp were clear and easy to navigate.

We had a good site in a gully away from other people. Our dogs were able to run around without having to be tied up (under effective voice control), which made it relaxing and enjoyable. There was a fair bit of cow manure around (it is a working beef cattle station) so keep that in mind if that sort of thing bothers you. There were a few dams nearby and the property is quite picturesque. Quite a few kangaroos nearby, with cows just down the path.

Heath was very helpful and accomodating. Beautiful, peaceful location surrounded by rolling hills with a gorgeous view. So much space between camping areas throughout the property means privacy is high. We will definitely be returning. Thankyou Heath for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

We camped on the top of the hill overlooking a paddock with horses and cattle. It was a great place to go for the weekend and switch off from everything. Very close to the Barossa and other cute surrounding towns. Great communication from host also. Would recommend.

Beautiful property and campsite. Welcoming and accommodating host. Decorations given by phone. Camped in a spot overlooking the farm and animals. Greeted by cattle at our door in the morning. Many thanks for having us.

Overall we enjoyed our short stay. The view from the hilltop site was excellent. Access with our caravan was a little tricky and there was lots of cow poo. But hey... It's a farm.
It was very private with no-one else within cooee. Our host was friendly and helpful.

Great weekend break. Heath went out of his way to show us a hill top camp that had great views and curious cattle. So rare to feel like you have a place to yourself. Converts to Hipcamp.

This is a wonderful location and experience. Quiet and private with views across rolling hills of grazing country. Banyule means place of many trees, and Heath is providing a perfect spot to enjoy peace among them.
Banyule is centrally located to spend time among the many wine, fruit and grazing communities on the border of the Adelaide Hills and Barossa. As well as many wineries there are plenty of primary producers selling at the farm gate: eggs, apples, pears, peaches, nectarines and figs.
Heath, Jen and their sons are warm and helpful hosts. Thank you for your hospitality and guiding us to sort out a few travel issues. Highly recommend.

We weren't able to stay at Heath's place due to our flight being so delayed. However, Heath was kind to allow us to to any of the sites to camp before we had to change our plans. We hope next time we are in Adelaide we can stay at Banyula Park.

Very nice getaway not too far from the city.

Was great to be able to get away but not have to be hours and hours away. Nice and open space, clear and level with plenty of room. Heath was a very welcoming host and was happy to help. Will definitely be back.
