Overnight rain caused muddy conditions and I witnessed a Sedan being towed out. Thankfully I have a 4x4 as I was towing a square-drop. Remember to bring insect repellent.

You will need a 4x4 if the ground is wet. Had a very peaceful camp out the back by the swamp. There is wood and plenty of mozzies. But good spot

Easy drive in for us with a city car, we enjoyed the stay! We only stayed a night, would recommend bringing strong mosquito repellent.

Not a bad spot, but not the best.
Not much level ground, alot of the area is lumpy so make sure you find a nice spot for your swag.
Great for bird watching and watching small planes land nearby. Free pallet firewood.
Watch out for the soft tracks.
Enjoyed my stay in an unique environment with a rich history.

Would be impossible to get in to any area (or out of!) without a “heavy duty” 4WD vehicle if it . Very difficult to find camp/track. Signage needs to be clearer.

Felt “alone” at this undeveloped site with only cows for neighbours. Managed to find an area of solid ground to camp on, but most of the land was extremely wet and muddy.
The price was rather high for no facilities, but what price solitude. Check before entering as one entrance was very boggy.
Easy access to Toorbul.

After trying to message the land owner 3 times about the trip I had no response whatsoever from him . On arrival there was no where to camp as it was a muddy mess. I would not recommend waisting your time on going here. It was a long drive to just turn around and go home. Not happy

It's very rugged, the ground is very rough, and the grass was too long, we took a mower and cleared a good area and then we had a good experience,

This a gem for an easy weekend getaway - access was well signed and the camp site was far enough off the main road to enjoy the sounds of nature. Our dog enjoyed her first camping trip too.
A mostly flat camping area but I imagine it would get a bit boggy after heavy rain so bare that in mind but don’t let it put you off. We certainly will come more prepared for the hungry mozzies next time and ensure we bring firewood to get into the groove sooner.
Thank you Jack’s for sharing your lovely spot with us - it gave us the chance to relax in amazing places to just far enough away from home to get holiday vibes on the water at Pumicestone Passage and on Bribie.

Great place to camp, we chose to camp in the first paddock and had plenty of room for all of us. The radar bunkers were awesome and added a super cool touch to the property. Well worth looking up the history of them to understand them better.

If we start from the beginning we arrived to the site looking for what we saw in the photos on the site. Failing to locate that we proceeded to find a spot to setup camp the only realistic site we could find was over grown and mosquito ridden. If your considering taking your dogs there id reconsider. Overall a trip that lacked the excitement. Wouldn't come again. 1/10

Nice spot for an overnight. Was fine in dry with an SUV. Had a lovely day kayak fishing on nearby Ningi Ck and woukd go again.

Great for a one night stay - lots of history with the radio bunkers and the cows came to say hello. Suits 4wd best.

Great spot, plenty of secluded areas.
Cattle roaming free which was nice.
Might need a 4WD in parts if it's wet.
Owner just leaves you to enjoy the land.
