Unfortunately the site was not as described in the pictures. The gravel area is relatively flat and whilst it does have a lovely fire pit, the broken van with a smashed window was very off-putting. There was a lot of rubbish and glass around the gravel site which we were placed. We picked this up!
I’m not sure where the large grass area is, because that was on a neighbouring property.
At the front entrance to the property there is a large pile of what appears to be rubbish. I think this may be a “recycling area”, but there’s so much of it and a broken car next to it, making it look more like a salvage yard than a recycling area.
We gave it one night and left the next morning. Sorry I can’t recommend this place.

A great little grassed area with a nice flat blue metal area to set up camp, we fit our 23ft caravan and truck in without too much fuss, and we had so much privacy on Alex’s block even though their house was less than 100m away. We were provided with everything we needed for a campfire each night and loved watching the possums running around in the trees. Great location, close to Bunnings and a heap of shops in the Big Fish complex, and a short drive into Caboolture markets. The dump point, laundry and water point over at the Showgrounds are pretty convenient also, but nice to have such a large area of our own to come back to.

Great private spot to camp. Great hosts who had tips on what to see in the area. Fire pit and wood supplied and even gave us water fill up as we left.

We enjoyed our stay. Peaceful close to everything. We loved being able to have a fire. Bush camping in the suburbs. Ignore directions on Hip Camp. Turn in driveway on pumicestone road at green shade cloth. You will see a little recycling project and turn in there. Do not turn up Joshua Court. Thank you Alex.

Great site for an overnighter whilst travelling. Alex was great to deal with and its close to supply shops to top up when on the road. About a KM off the highway to rest after long day on the road.

The campsite at Alex's land is partly secluded from the road with trees reducing a lot of road noise. the bird life in the area was wonderful, there were a large range birds in the area that made morning coffee very enjoyable.
it is also quite close to good shopping centres if you need supplies.
