Beautiful property with lots of hidden gems. Sites were spacious and clean. Love their home grown eggs as well, definitely ask for them when you’re staying here.

Amazing camp sites with a great place to fish right next to the hatchery. Tamara and Stephen are amazing people and incredibly nice. We will be making this a go to site and an annual trip for me and my brother!

My second time at the Maidenhair Meadow site, which is beautiful and private, literally on the riverbank. We had two big tents this time - four adults and two big dogs. The rains moved in, but Stephen set up a huge canopy, which was where we ate our meals and hung out. Pack efficiently, because the walk from the parking lot down to the campsite gets tiring. Especially in the rain! Also keep in mind that this is pristine - rustic. Which is just what we want. But some campers might have trouble with the lack of a fresh water source for cleaning/dishes, etc. The ubiquitous water pump with drain that you find in national and state park campsites is not here! This is a very special camp where the old growth trees and the sound of the river will soothe you, giving you a break from everything that’s hectic in your life. I’m looking forward to my next trip!

Great landscape! Ambience was just what we were looking for. The trails are well marked out making it easy to get from campsite to needed amenities. Both Tamara and Stephen were extremely kind and very helpful. Even though we missed our turn into the campsite and arrived 15 mins later than expected they were still very welcoming. Each campsite is unique and has a spacious gap between each other allowing to enjoy without the worry of bothering anyone else. Wouod definitely recommend!

This is an amazing place! Tamara & Stephen were incredible hosts, and their property is truly special. It knocks public camping sites out of the water. Beautiful sites, water access, secluded trails. They have designed the space so thoughtfully - like sets of adirondack chairs placed in beautiful view points all throughout, or homemade jenga placed by the riverfront. If you're thinking about staying here - do it.

Maidenhair Meadow
This is our second time at this site. What a fantastic place! We’ve stayed on a Sunday-Monday each time and it was quiet and so relaxing. Falling asleep to the sound of the river is the best. Tamara and Stephen’s property is beautiful and they’re very welcoming and helpful. Our pup had a blast too, running around and plopping in the water. We will be back!!

From the minute we arrived, Tamara and Stephen created a wonderfully relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Their property is an absolute gem. You stay once and immediately want to plan your next trip! The campsites are very spacious. The sound of the water is a beautiful soundtrack for a campfire filled evening. Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing weekend.

Tamara and Stephen are the most amazing people on planet earth.
Not only are they the kindest and nicest hosts, Tamara was wonderful with my 7.5 year old daughter. They are accommodating, nice, helpful, and all around wonderful human beings.
Their property is GORGEOUS. The sites are clean, set up nicely, and perfectly spaces where you don’t see your neighbors while camping.
I seriously can not say enough about how great they are.
They also have farm fresh eggs readily available, ice, and firewood. At a very decent price.
This is our family new camping spot. You have to come check this place out!!!!!

Site 1 - Spruce Landing @ Riverberry Retreat
Tamara and Stephen’s site is perfect! The campsites are spacious, the picnic tables are large and in good condition, there is potable water on site, and the porta potty was sparkling clean! Also, the walk to the river is short and easy! Overall, very happy with my stay!

We stayed at Waterfall site for 2 nights. Tamara & Stephen gave us a friendly greeting when we arrived at their beautiful 25 acre property. Our site was right next to the river which has an active waterfall that we could hear from our site. The other sites are situated far enough away to ensure you can’t hear other campers while you are enjoying yourself at your site. We enjoyed fishing, hiking, swimming and paddle boarding while we were there. The Tuttle’s were warm and welcoming and the property is truly magical. You can also pre order ice, firewood, and farm fresh eggs. We will definitely be coming back!

This was my favorite campsite I've ever stayed at. Hands down, it was beautiful right by the water with trees everywhere. We hammock camped in late August and it couldn't have been a better experience. The owners were super kind and gave me a small tour around the property. I definitely will return to this little fairy tale oasis!!!

Another great stay! This time there were other guests (last time we essentially had the place to ourselves) and yet… there was no noticeable difference. That’s how incredibly private these campsites are! A pleasure staying with Tamara and Stephen again.

Waterfall Camp
Riverberry Retreat is everything you'd hope a HipCamp would be without any let down whatsoever. The old growth forest is magical, serene and private. Tamara and Stephen are the most gracious and accommodating hosts and I'm so thankful they allow others to experience their little slice of PNW heaven. We will be back again, no doubt!

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The sites were well maintained. Site 1 is closer to the road, so the occasional car or motorcycle would remind you of how close it is. I would definitely stay here again

We loved camping at Tamara and Stephen’s lovely piece of paradise. Clean, quiet and beautiful with friendly hosts, pets and guests. We enjoyed spending time at camp in between trips to Cannon Beach and surrounding areas. Hope we can come back soon!

This camping site is amazing! The hosts were so friendly. We had 8 kids with us and they made them feel so welcome. They invited the kids to help feed the chickens and meet their animals. We got a tour of the property. The site we stayed at, Treebeard, was like a fairy tale! The forest growth was gorgeous and it was a quiet setting. The river is close by (like a 30 sec walk) and perfect for wading or swimming or floating. There are even Adirondack chairs for use by the River at different spots. Lots of walking trails and the fish hatchery is next door, which is worth the walk over to see.
The only downside is having to trek your stuff from your car (left in a lot by the house) to the sites (2-3 min walk). Not being able to park by the site was a con, but the pro is how beautiful the forest growth and moss stays.
There are drive up sites available though on the other side of the house and we may use them next time.
There were also portable toilets, but none close to this site, so same distance to walk to a toilet as a car.
Highly recommend this site and would definitely go back!

What a fabulous location. Deep in Old Growth pine, spruce, cedar and the cool waters of the river. I bought some eggs from her chickens and she invited us to explore the entire property. Very special. Quiet.

I highly recommend checking this place out. Beautiful spot with some amazing old trees. The hosts here go above and beyond and are highly likable humans. So comfortable and worth every penny.

Our family had an incredible stay at Tamara and Stephens campground. It’s easy to see how loved the space is, there are many charming/artful details throughout. Clean outhouses, fresh water (drink this, you’ll be surprised by how fresh it tastes!) firewood and eggs for sale on site. Our spot had direct water access allowing us to splash around during the warmer hours of the day. Tamara showed our family the shared swimming spots, which had large deep areas and a shore perfect for floating and a waterside picnic. We especially appreciated the large dinning table at our campsite , it was even facing the river! The table was perfect for kitchen prep, our camp stove and eating meals. The area felt really safe and special! We also shared the space with some Portland Healers and a birthday party, it was joy all around. Thanks for sharing your space with us, we can’t wait to get back.

This camp is stunningly beautiful, has an amazing river, and really so much room to spread out. We were a large group but it felt like we had so much space and we didn’t even hear each other from one site to the next. Such a cool property and you can tell that there is so much care put into this land. It was really awesome that firewood, ice, and eggs were available. A great place to rejuvenate.

Waterfall Camp
This is a unique opportunity to camp among old growth, trees, and next to a pristine waterfall. The fire pit and picnic table were very helpful, we also loved being able to pre-order a half dozen farm, fresh eggs, firewood, and ice. There are carts available to get your things to the sites, and the owners were very friendly.

The spot was great overall and such a beautiful swimming spot on the property. I wouldn't say there was actual room for 25 people to camp unless it was 4-5 people per tent. We had 12 folks with 6 tents and that felt pretty maxed out. While it's a walk in site with wide trail, the walk is fairly short - under 5 minutes or so. They also have very easy to use rolling carts to take stuff in an out. Owners are very nice and helpful. A little slow to respond on some questions though. Each campsite feels private and good distance from other campers. We had several dogs and they had enough space to use just within the campground.

Such a lovely spot! Highly recommend staying here. It was beautiful and the hosts are so kind and responsive. They have very well maintained portable toilets, a spot for water, nice level tent spots, wheelbarrows for the walk in sites, ice and eggs available too!? I loved watching the chickens and the owners dogs. The river and waterfall were great on the hotter days and so relaxing just to sit near. Truly a magical spot in the woods

Easily the best private campground we have ever stayed at—so good that I’ve already booked another trip in a couple weeks! Amazing hosts, impeccable sites with gorgeous views, thoughtful touches that make your stay even better. I can’t recommend staying with Tamara and Stephen highly enough. If you have a dog, this will be their dream.
