Devils backbone Basecamp is one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. We came for a hike back in November as a part of the Appalachian Trail and found the brewery campground on the Hipcamp app. This place has Spacious campsites, clean facilities, including one of the nicest bathhouses at a campground I’ve ever experienced. The brewery is awesome. The view is completely surrounded by mountains. This is a five star experience. 1000% recommend

Campsite 105 was spacious and plenty of room to spread out with 6 adults, 3 tents and 3 cars. Watch your step at the site as there are some holes hard to see in the tall grass. We were there in April and the temps were perfect and no issues with bugs. We all showered in the bath house which had nice, private shower/changing areas. Two showers in each restroom. The food and beer was great as was the service. Highly recommend the Devils Backbone camping experience and we will be back!

Great Experience
We stayed at site 101 and are already planning our next trip back! The whole setup at Devil’s Backbone is so nice - and we were especially impressed by the bathhouse - very nice and clean! The camp site was great. Decent size wooded area with big fields in front and behind the campsite. Will definitely return!!

This is our third time staying at hip camp at devils backbone and we absolutely LOVE it! The showers and toilets at the bathhouse are an easy walk away and are well maintained. The sites are spacious and give you plenty of options in where to place your tent. Picnic table and fire ring are provided.
Five stars. Will be back over and over again.
