Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Our farm is in a small mobile home community built on the site of an old cattle farm. I am a single mom of 4 now grown, homeschooled boys. They set up my off grid, largely self sufficient, homestead.

We have several semi secluded natural camping spots surrounded by young trees and thick underbrush. There's a small stream that runs through the property. Our homestead is right next door we have a large garden, sheep, and chickens. Eggs and fresh produce available for sale in season as available. Bring your own tent, or rent ours. Message us and we can have one set up before you arrive. We have 2 gas grills and a charcoal grill available for rent, just bring your own charcoal or propane tank (available at stores within 2 miles). The national forest is just on the other side of the highway and there are many hiking trails and streams nearby. The Hiwassee river is 1 mile away and the Ocoee river is about 15 miles. The Savannah Oaks Winery is just behind the property and the Amish market is just behind that. The nearest towns are Benton and Etowah each are almost exactly 10 miles in either direction. The Lost Sea, Mayfield Dairy farms, The River Maze, Hiawassee Rail Adventures, & many other attractions are nearby.
