At the gateway to the stunning Keppel Islands and southern Great Barrier Reef, Yeppoon and the Capricorn Coast have long been favoured as a laid-back holiday destination. The town of 25,0000 people shines with an impressive foreshore redevelopment (including a resort-style lagoon), along with stylish eateries, places to stay and coastal experiences, whilst retaining its seaside village appeal. Explore nearby Great Keppel Island, which is a half-hour boat ride away,y or take a day trip to Byfield National Park to experience the natural beauty of the rainforest and beaches. Yeppoon is 40 kilometres (30-minute drive) north-east of Rockhampton and Rockhampton Airport offers daily flights to Brisbane, Mackay, Townsville and Cairns.

The Shack has one authentic wood panelled bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as an additional separate toilet. A fully renovated large kitchen and full-size refrigerator make catering a breeze. Please note the Skipper Shack is accessible by a flight of stairs.
