We are a family run cattle station. The station has been in the Murray family for over 100 years now. We breed predominantly brahman cattle as well as some speckle park and angus. Uanda is very unique as there are about 93 different land types. So the country varies greatly from paddock to paddock. Near by is Moorinya National Park and Forrest Den National Park as well as Kooroorinya Falls and Sports Reserve. Our local small towns are Torrens Creek and Prairie to the north, with Hughenden and Charters Towers being our main shopping towns. Uanda is a great place to stop over if you are travelling or if you would like to unplug from the rest of the world for a few days and reconnect to nature without distractions.
