Very pretty dam close to Brisbane. Excellent shade structure. Well mainted clean toilet. Definitely need ramps for trailers/vans with the slope but we found enough flat space for 2 tents as well. Smaller than photos and road running alongside but only noisy on Friday night. If you hate hearing any road noise, then best to avoid but we didn't find it an issue. Excellent group camp and the dogs loved it!

What a great spot! Having the whole place to yourselves just makes it so peaceful and a really enjoyable experience. The facilities are great. We had a really nice weekend away at Brooke and Braedyn’s place.
The campsite was easy to find, beautiful, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The grass was neatly mowed, the dam was easy to access, and I loved having the picnic table nearby.
However, one major downside was the nearby road, which is less than five meters from the edge of the dam. While regular traffic wasn’t an issue, there is currently a long-term construction and development project happening along that road. From 6 AM to 6 PM, there was constant noise from excavation, trucks, and heavy machinery. Given how close the road is, it impacted both the privacy and peacefulness of the site.
It’s a beautiful spot and while the construction is beyond the host’s control, I ended up leaving a day early due to the noise.
Had a great Easter weekend, very peaceful.

A dam good spot was secluded and quiet. Highly recommend. There had been a lot of rain the night before we arrived, so the picnic area and that side of the campspot was absolutely drenched, slushy and muddy. After 2 days it was still the same, didn't dry out quickly. But the positive is that there was another great spot further over, near the dam, which was dry and flat. Perfect for our tent . I'd recommend a 4wd when it has been raining though. A 2wd if it is dry.
Handy hint: take a foldaway table with you, cause we couldn't use the picnic table cause of the wet.
Loved there were no mossies and no prickles. Loved the green grass. Loved the sunset. Loved waking up to the pelican on the dam. Loved that there was no other campers and it is a pet friendly site. I loved that its so close to Canungra (15 min drove), and we also drove up to Binna Burra. The countryside is stunning! Loved this place. Even their driveway to the campspot was lovely.
Very private and peaceful. Lots of space, had a nice swim in the dam as well :) great spot, we will be back!

This fantastic campsite, located just outside Brisbane, offers plenty of space to set up, complete with designated fire pits. The views are stunning, especially at sunset over the dam, which also makes for a refreshing swim. A hike up to the lookout has awesome views of Tamborine and the surrounding farmland. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and put in a lot of effort to keep the site in top shape. The clean and well-maintained facilities are a bonus.

Beautiful spot , private , some nice shade trees , very clean toilet , swam in the dam , nice covered bbq table , only negative only one level site the rest is a bit sloped, so take some levellers, I will be back

What a great spot - we loved the exclusivity of it, being the only campers on site was very peaceful.
Close enough to town whilst feeling a world away, we will definitely return.
Booking was easy and no stress, we actually booked the same day we stayed as it was available. Host was lovely. Cheers 🍻 for having us.

Exactly what the site name says a "Dam good spot". Perfect escape with my nervous "city" dog ! great amenities and location. So much bird life around the dam and many walking tracks a bound. Look forward to coming back.
Great spot, so much room and great hut available. Road on the other side of dam is surprisingly busy but didn’t bother us. Dogs loved the space. Phone reception / data not the best in some areas but managed to stream on Telstra and Optus at the hut. Could make calls when needed. Clean and neat. Will absolutely stay again. Loved the tin birds … cheers
This is a great camping spot and will definitely be visiting again with our friends. The site is private and very quiet besides the cars passing on the road near the site. The dam provided great entertainment for us and our dog. The toilet is a small walk up a path but nothing too hard. Permanent fire pit and shelter is a great addition to our trip.
Beautiful patch of grass next to the lake, complete with a fire pit amd shelter with picnic bench underneath, very handy for our group of 8.
Portaloo was a little walk up the hill but very clean and comfortable to use, no problems.
We enjoyed the little kayak provided, and the kids and dogs loved running around with no worries of bothering anyone else, overall such a relaxing experience.

Nice and private. A great base to explore Canungra and Tamborine Mountain.
This spot was so cute; love how private it is. The site isn’t super level but it didn’t cause any issues. Beautiful sunset. Had a fire pit and table chairs. The porta loo was up the hill; which I wasn’t keen on in the dark; but I have a little porta loo in the van, so I just used that. Will definitely be back again.
This was a perfect private nights getaway. We were at the side of a large pond, fire place, toilet, table and cover, freshly mowed grass and kangaroos. So close to Brisbane yet felt like we were far away.

I didn't fancy taking the caravan down to the spot.
It's pretty tight I'm sure others can and have .
Called Braedyn and we stayed up the top
Nice grass and a very peacefully night
We enjoyed our short weekend stay at Campsite 1. Great walking areas for our dog and we also found a hidden sitting area with a table in amongst trees. Very cool. The large undercover picnic table was definately a bonus. The area was very private, spacious, and tidy. The toilet was only 150m away and very clean too.
What a quiet lil slice of serenity.. covered table by a gazebo, campfire and your own water view. Highly recommend.
