Howler Hideout Apartment
Mountain bike riders dream spot.
This little place is an absolute gem. Nice little private hideaway right at the base camp of a top notch bike park. The Penny family could not be more gracious hosts.

Primitive Camping Site 5
The camp site was great! Firewood was stacked and ready for us when we arrived. Quiet and secluded feel. Super close to the bike park. Everything was excellent.
Thanks so much!!!

Glamping Tent 1 (Queen Bed)
My family and I loved staying overnight in a Howler glamping tent! In the past we had camped in a basic tent site at Howler, but staying in a glamping tent takes things to a whole new level. It was more spacious that I had expected and the bed was very comfortable. Having lights and heat in the tent (on a cool April night) was a perfect mix of camping with the comforts of home. I really enjoyed sitting on the raised front deck of the glamping tent in the evening, where I could look out over the nearby creek to the beautifully lit base camp area. John built a campfire for us, which was in a very cozy spot nestled in the valley right next to the creek. Sitting around the fire was such a peaceful experience, and a great way to relax after a fun day of mountain biking. The shower house is wonderful – the cleanest I’ve ever encountered at any camping area – and a very short walk from the glamping tents. And to top things off, the staff at Howler is super-friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I highly recommend the glamping tents at Howler, and want to thank Jen, John, and Max for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable!

Glamping Tent 4 (2 Full Beds)
First time glamping. I did not have to set up a tent and take it down so that is a monster plus! They help bring your gear from the lot to the tent. They start a fire in the larger fire pit. They tent was clean and the beds were as comfy as the one at home. It felt cleaner there than a hotel. It was worth the extra money to us. Will stay again next time we go.
