Camp amongst our apple trees with a view of the woods with your own picnic table, fire pit, hammock, marshmallow sticks and grill. 20 and 30amp electric and water is available but no sewer. Pets under 30lbs are welcome. Farm fresh eggs, meats, produce and firewood available from our family farm. We are close to the Mackinaw bridge and the ferries to Mackinac island are only 12 minutes away. We are also close to shopping, dining and the UP.Park your camper or van and enjoy your own picnic table, fire pit and Hammock Enjoy our free Wi-Fi and firewood with a view of our Apple trees and Northern Michigan woods. We are located close to Mackinac island and Mackinaw city but we are on a very quiet country road with very little traffic. Peaceful for sure

Apple view camp site

Private, quiet and apples!

What an amazing place to relax for a while. Chris and Amy were gracious hosts and their property is beautiful. Super private, quiet and in close proximity to the touristy stuff. Clearly they take pride in providing a superior Hipcamp experience, and we will absolutely look to stay there again if we are in the area. Apple trees everywhere was a huge bonus, and were yummy cooked in the pizza oven!

Great spot

We had a great time at Chris’s place. We went to Mackinac Island twice and explored nearby lakes. There is a ton to do and Chris is very knowledgeable about the area. This was like staying at a friend’s house and it’s very dog friendly. At night it’s peaceful and quiet. Thanks Chris for sharing your place with us!

Pleasantly surprised

This was the first time we used hip camp. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t know what to expect. Chris is a wonderful host very personable and helpful. Our site was perfect, it was very quiet. Plus, we are right in the middle of everything, no more than 30 miles to Petoskey, Harbor Springs, or Mackinac city. Those places were nice to visit, but it was nice to come back to our campsite where it was peaceful. We will definitely be back.

Nice place and nice people

Chris and his family are so very nice and gracious hosts. We were their very first guest. They welcomed us to the single RV space behind their home that had 30 amp electric service and water on the new gravel pad. It was a bit tricky getting in with our 42ft 5th wheel but Chris made some improvements while we were there that made it so much easier. Would definitely stay here again. Getting to and from Mackinaw City was very easy
