One acre of beautiful forest land tucked into a quiet residential neighborhood in a small progressive town that offers the best of both worlds of feeling far away while also being just 5-10 minute drive (or twenty minute walk!) to restaurants, coffee shops, and night life in Florence and Northampton. Pitch a tent anywhere on the property, sit by the firepit in provided adirondack chairs, listen to bird calls, and enjoy the wildlife that visits our happy little home. If you'd like to add a little "glamping", you are more than welcome to make use of the bathroom and indoor shower on our property. Towels provided for an extra fee.
Just down the road, there is an excellent secluded swim spot on the Mill River. Two blocks away there are miles of trails in Saw Mill Hills Conservation and Mineral Hills Conservation. Tons more hiking and outdoor adventures await in Florence and other surrounding towns (all within 20-30 minute drives).
If you'd like to venture a bit farther, you can visit the Massachusetts of Contemporary Art (Mass Moca) which is one of the largest centers for contemporary visual art and performing arts in the United States and only an hour drive accompanied by beautiful scenery. A bit closer to "home" is the Montague Book Mill, a delightful 1834 grist mill turned used bookshop and restaurant sitting on a beautiful river.
Firepit available. Wood available upon request for an extra fee. Parking is available in a shared driveway that can accommodate up to two additional cars or a large van or RV. We can also provide a hammock upon request. One acre of beautiful forest land tucked into a quiet residential neighborhood in a small progressive town that offers the best of both worlds of feeling far away while also being just 5-10 minute drive (or twenty minute walk!) to restaurants, coffee shops, and night life in Florence and Northampton. In the summer, camping in our yard feels very private. However, in Late Fall and Early Spring (when the leaves and green growth are more sparse), you can see through the woods to houses to the back and side of the property. For early and late season campers, be aware that there is a little more of a "backyard woods" feel to the property. Once the green comes in, it feels more secluded!

We are just a 3 minute drive to downtown Florence, and a 10 minute drive from downtown Northampton and Smith College, and 15 minutes to downtown Easthampton. This means there's lots of restaurants, events, and activities to choose from!
