This property was a vacant lot in the historic San Luis Valley. Ideally, if you see a large farm with Barley growing everywhere, think of Coors. Blanca’s been known all over the US for supplying Barley to Coors (for beer :) ) You have access to the whole five acre lot and are encouraged to visit the tribal gift shops in Blanca and Fort Garland. I got a great set of Antler towel holders and some pretty awesome rugs, last I visited. Learn more about this land: This is a brilliant weekend stay for a couple, your dog and kids. You’ll find wild grazing cattle occasionally, elk and deer and bunnies in the prairie, vast open spaces for atvs/ buggies. You have The Great Sand Dunes 30 minutes north of here, Blanca peak (14k ft. Peak) with a mild hike and Zapata falls to unwind and Smith Reservoir to catch a couple good sized bass. Blanca has a couple good places to eat, however Fort Garland’s your best bet for some great chow. Please pick up after yourself as you return home and help my family welcome the next family to our land. This is a brilliant weekend stay for a couple, your dog and kids.
