Weekend Trip to Yellow Butterfly
Convenient stopover as it’s not too far off the highway (it feels remote, though!). Beautiful nature sounds, showers were lovely and hot, long drop toilet was clean and maintained. Hope to visit again when it’s less rainy, so we can enjoy one of the outdoor tubs :) thanks for a great stay!

Weekend Trip to Secluded Mountain Camping
We stayed there over the weekend and it was as secluded as the name suggests. Corinne kindly warned us about the leeches beforehand and there were really many the first day but none got to us. In the evening you can spot tens of wallabies and some possums by just taking the 30 m walk to the bathroom (with refreshingly cold water). In the morning the sound of birds and gentle wind through the eucalypt branches wake you up.

Weekend Trip to Secluded Mountain Camping
We had a lovely time camping at Corinne’s fire pit site. It really is such a wildlife corridor with lots of native flora and fauna to spot by day and at night. The bathroom amenities are lovely and so useful and Corinne gave us all the info we needed to set ourselves up for a lovely long weekend away.

Friendly hosts, lively spot, was really pleased with the facilities offered (simple but perfect camp kitchen, good toilet, great showers & fun bath!) Be prepared for the mozzies - we were able to simply move inside our tent as have space and needed to even with mozzi repellant & long clothing. Would stay again in back in the area :-)

Had a lovely 3 night stay here while going to uni in Coffs. It’s quiet and really easy to get to. Facilities are also nice and I love the eco style! Bonnie’s it’s only about 5 minutes from Woolgoolga. Bring mozzie spray or citronella. Would definitely recommend :)

Really enjoyed the quiet and beautiful campsite. Camp kitchen was very handy with the heavy rain - comfy and clean with all required amenities. Amazing array of birdlife too, including a resident melodic grey shrikethrush. Would be keen to know what type of tree the sacred tree was. Thank you!

Situated in our family farm, we can offer you a piece of quiet in the mountains, away from the crowds. 4kms on a quiet unsealed road, you'll find a tranquillity that you won't find in towns. We have parma wallabies on site and rainforest views. A walk through the paddock brings you to a beautiful rainforest alcove. Amazing bird watching, including black cockatoos and owls. We are 5kms away from Greater Glider habitat and we're waiting patiently to see a koala again after the 2019 fires. Suited to self-contained campers, an external shared bathroom is available and an additional composting toilet. There is no dump point. Bellingen Hideaway Tiny House is your perfect escape. Located on Gumbayngirr country, we are at the mouth of the beautiful Kalang Valley. Even though we’re just 4 minutes drive from Bellingen and 20-30 minutes from several of NSW’s best beaches, you’ll feel like you’re a million miles from anywhere. Reconnect with nature as you relax on the East facing tiny home overlooking the lush Bellingen Forest. Situated 800 metres away from the road and surrounded by 52 acres of forest, you’ll experience mystical misty mornings and stunning afternoon colours. When you’re ready for food and town vibes, Bellingen is a short 4 kilometre drive with great cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops, including an IGA for all your grocery needs. The only problem? You won’t want to leave. The tiny house has been made from recycled and reclaimed materials with a lovely cottage feel. The large windows and french doors provide an easy connection with the beautiful surrounds and amazing views. You’ll enjoy a comfortable stay with the well-equipped kitchenette (portable induction hob, microwave, toaster, kettle), comfortable queen-sized bed, inside and outside seating, ensuite bathroom and large undercover deck with outdoor bath. Perfect for 2 people! The tiny house has been positioned to be completely private, and there will be no one sharing this area with you, yet the main house is not too far away in case you have any emergencies. Other things to note We aim to be as sustainable as possible while not skimping on luxury. We aim to make your stay as memorable as possible and provide lots of personal touches, but please do not take anything from the tiny house. We have solar panels, water tanks and filter the water to the tiny house. Luckily for us we live in a wet part of the world so no need to worry about how much water you use, though please only use toiletries provided, or ensure the ones you bring are eco friendly. The toilet is a composting toilet but it is used as any flushing toilet, without the flush! The place is extremely quiet, though sometimes dirt bikes can be heard travelling through the fire trails. Beautiful bird calls and the spotting of wildlife are assured.
