Come and Stay in a very comfortable and well appointed bell tent in a beautiful tranquil bush setting on my 12 acre property. This is BYO bedding to keep the price affordable but still with all the comforts. Nestled in a little valley. Lots of wildlife, beautiful walks and a swimming hole is just up the road. The site is off grid but still has 240v via a battery and inverter setup and all the other creature comforts including a well setup outdoor kitchen with BBQ and sink. The bathroom is close by with hot shower and flushing toilet and is shared with one other site. There is wood heater inside the tent. Just bring some bedding and your set to go for a fantastic relaxing few nights in the bush. In the cooler months, we will leave some Firewood, lighters and matches inside the tent for the fire box however wood for outside fires is BYO, there’s plenty of kindling and sticks on the property to collect.

They are all friendly but spend most of their time up at the house. They may visit you from time to time. Lily the Rotwieller is only 12 months old and very playful and loves to chase a ball around the paddock She has a thing for shoes, so please make sure they are always hidden away. Along with anything else you don't want a naughty puppy to make a meal of. Only minutes from town where you will find supplies, close to the local swimming pool and 10 minutes from a popular watering hole. Enjoy all that Bendigo and surrounding areas have to offer, check out the historic gold mining attractions and come home to rest in a tranquil setting amongst the trees, the birds and the stars. Bendigo itself features some fantastic heritage architecture and a creative community. Be sure to check out coffee houses down little laneways and the many culinary options of the restaurants in town.

Our home is atop a hill with peaceful and serene 360 degree views to die for. The property in Waterloo is a 200-acre working farm with Murray Grey cattle and Cheviot sheep, and, of course, many kangaroos. We have a campsite available near the house, under a beautiful Yellow Box tree. Power is available if required. Alternatively, one or two bedrooms are available in an independent wing of the house with a private bathroom and toilet. There are cafes and eateries in Beaufort which is only 10 kilometres away. The town also provides a supermarket, hotel, chemist, hardware store, and butcher shop, with many other spots of interest. The railway station has regular services to Ballarat and Melbourne which take 1 to 2 hours journey. The Pyrenees Wine region is also on the doorstep. A public dump point is available in Beaufort. Yellow Box Hill is backed by the State Forest so there are ample walking trails, as well as in the Mt. Cole area. Information about the region is available at the Beaufort Community Resource Centre and Library. Gold detecting is very popular as Waterloo was a gold-mining town in the 1850's. Surely, there has been some left behind! You are welcome to stay a night or a few days, or as arranged.

Stunning views in all directions, amazing welcoming stay!! Initially planned to go out for dinner but those plans changed as soon as we arrived only shame was we had to leave to top up groceries!! The serenity and beauty is not done justice by any of the photos!

Weekend Trip to Kilbirnie Peak Glamping

This glamping site is absolutely amazing! It’s everything we could have asked for and more! The tent setup was beautiful, the kitchen was great and the bathroom hadn’t everything you needed. The views were spectacular, it was so peaceful and the night sky was breathtaking! Susie was an amazing host and the food boxes allowed us to not have to leave the site and just enjoy the peace and quiet! We will absolutely be coming back again!!

Beautiful quiet place with a view of the surrounding bush and kangaroos. Close to Hepburn Springs, Daylesford and the amazing chocolate mill without costing a fortune.

Maxine is such a genuine and kind host, we felt like we were visiting an old friend! She was so fantastic with my two kids, and so generous with her time. She has sheep, cows, cats, dogs, a horse and even a rescue hare! Her four dogs are so friendly and well behaved - when we left, my kids were really sad to leave the dogs behind. The views from her house are really breathtaking, and it is such a beautiful quiet spot. Thanks Maxine for a lovely stay xx

Great spot for a group of campers, wanting to get away to a peaceful and quiet location (but with amenities close by in Maryborough) Great set up with the camp kitchen, Echidna cabin, drop toilet and water tanks, plus lots of other extras. Nice flat ground for extra tents and vans, lots of shade and loads of space.

I cannot recommend Kilbirnie Peak enough for a relaxing weekend away! We spent our first anniversary here - and between the assortment of lounging options, outdoor bath under the stars, epic sunrise/sunset, open air shower, fire pit, pizza oven, bird life, comfy tent, regal resident alpaca, we were spoiled for choice on ways to unwind. The midday checkout was also a treat too, no alarms necessary and more time to sit in the bath! The host Susie was incredibly responsive and helpful. We will absolutely be back. ❤️🌅

This glamping experience was phenomenal. So relaxing and everything you need is right here! The view is breathtaking and watching the eagles over the gully was amazing. Susie is the perfect host, even dropping off extra firewood for us. Every amenity is covered, and even flushing toilet and a hot shower can be had. We will definitely be back 💖

4 nights at Lovely Bush Property

Staying at the echidna retreat was extremely peaceful and relaxing, the facilities and amenities provided were clean, tidy and plentiful. Clear instructions were provided on the listing, by the host and on instructional paper in the accommodation. The views, weather and animals surrounding were beautiful as well as the local towns which were rich in culture and provided plenty of site seeing opportunities. The stars were unbelievable and bright as well. We saw an echidna within 5 minutes of our arrival and kangaroos greeted us every morning before the sun fully rose. Would highly recommend to any people looking to have a peaceful stay away from all the noise and pollution of city living.

Highly recommend Kilbirnie Peak Glamping if you’re looking for a country getaway. 360 degree views of the country side, comfy bed, bath on the deck (with hot water), toilet and shower (it is glamping), pizza oven and BBQ, fire pit (when it’s not a total fire ban), lots of sheep and an alpaca 🦙, had yummy homemade cookies waiting for us, so many little touches (mozzie coils, usb fans, phone chargers, lovely toiletries, plenty of towels, speaker), just wasn’t a long enough stay ❤️ Susie is a fabulous host and great communication. Will definitely be back again.

Amazing place to stay. Sunrise shining through the tent in the morning and unbelievable sunsets at night. And the bath tub which was great on the hot days. We had clear nights so were treated to some of the best stars we've seen. Hosts were great as well. Highly recommend the breakfast box.

Beautiful and clean. The mini golf was a big hit (no pun intended), and the little quaint indoor stove kept the cabin warm on a cold night. Ian was friendly, communicative, and checked in regularly to ensure we were ok. The block is easy to find, and there is plenty of tank water available. The bush kitchen was cute, and the table near the fire pit was lovely to sit at. The cabin has enough beds and chairs for family.
